Caprica: Exclusive Sneak Peek in TV Guide
Battlestar Goes Back to the Beginning. Next week's TvGuide (July 14-20) has a Sci-Fi Preview of Caprica with a pic of Esai and Eric on set.

I don't think it's spoilerish but it talks about a crazy twist for BSG fans so I thought I would put the full scan under the cut. I am coming into this as an [info]esaimorales fan so all this is new to me. I am currently catching up with BSG though and this blog has helped a lot!

Damn! That looks fantastic. I'm SO looking forward to this. I mean, I'd watch it for Polly Walker alone but... yeah.

Yay.

wow, does this mean to suggest that this teacher is the source/influence behind the Cylons' fanatic monotheism?!? cool.

Actually, there have been plenty of hints that the idea monotheism didn't originate with the Cylons. Eh, it's TV Guide, they often distort information. Thanks for sharing!

See when I found out about this I didn't think BSG had offered many hints about it. What are you referring to? I noticed just one, this season: a reference (by Tyrol I believe) to how Baltar is now "hanging out with those One-God nuts" or something to that effect.

Meanwhile, thanks for posting this! CAPRICA airs "this fall"????? Sweet if true.

Heee!! Are they going all film noir on us for Caprica? 'cause Adama Sr.'s giving me hard-boiled detective vibes in that hat. XD

Ooh, look, it's Mad Men set in space! :P

Seriously, I am not feeling this prequel. I'll stick with the later universe...

yeah that would make Joseph Adama about what 110 right now? So he was what, about 50 when he had Bill? Plausible.

From what I have read Bill is going to be about 9 (unless the report I read was misinformed) during this and if they stick near Esai's age for his character he is 45 so he would of been in his 30s when he had him.

This is rather confusing. When was Bill 9 year old? Certainly not 50 years before the First Cylon War (which happened 40 years before the attack on the Colonies) - because that would make him 100 years old now! :S

More likely 50 years before the SECOND war, not First, if Bill Adama is supposed to be 9. We know he was about 20 at the end of the First Cylon War.

So Did the Old Man have any brothers or sisters? If he didn't, that would mean the old man is a Cylon. HEY OH!

"So Did the Old Man have any brothers or sisters?"
In all the synopsis I read on Caprica they are saying Bill had a sister.
