Season 4.0 DVD coming to Europe as early as October [Saturday
July 26th, 2008 at 8:44pm]

pedda
You all know how this works:

The Americans and Canadians have to wait ages for their Region 1 DVDs (Season 4.0 on the penultimate day of this year) but their sets are usually chock full with extras such as deleted scenes, podcasts, video blogs, specials, choice between different episode lengths and so on.

In stark contrast to that, European/Australian Region 2 sets are barely more than bare-bones episodes in a nice package but at least we get them a lot earlier.

Hence, Season 4.0 will come to Europe as early as 6 October (Amazon DE, Amazon UK), at a price of around 25 pound / 43 euros (that's more than 65 rupees, uh, dollars).

Today the operators of London MCM Expo announced the first BSG guest for their October event: Michael Hogan.

Attending both days (25-26 October), Hogan will come to a European event for the very first time. London MCM Expo are a series of collectors fairs featuring a couple of (cramped) autograph booths and a small number of talks/panels.

Their previous event (May 2008) was attended by Aaron Douglas, Alessandro Juliani, Edward J. Olmos and Rekha Sharma, among other genre guests. You can watch one of their panels here.

Edit: Aaron Douglas had to cancel Galactica Four (8-10 August in London).

I have created a VERY BASIC knol on Battlestar Galactica. You can see it here. Like I said, it is very basic as of this writing and am looking for collaborators. If you are interested in helping me develop this knol, please contact me.

FYI What is a knol? Knol is Google's new service that is their 'answer' to wikipedia.

Interviews with Grace Park and Jamie Bamber [Friday
July 25th, 2008 at 2:15am]

A FHM interview with Grace with a lot of sexy pictures. http://www.fhmonline.com/girls_girls_of_fhm_article.asp?cnl_id=1&stn_id=1&idx_id=6350
She talks about The Cleaner and BSG. There's one little bit of info that might be considered a little spoilery that pleased me very much. :)

Another very long interview with Grace: http://www.ugo.com/ugo/html/article/?id=18932§ionId=7

And in case you haven't seen this already, here is, well, not a proper interview, but an article with quotes by Jamie Bamber. He is another cast member who claims that the finale is amazing, the best thing Ron has ever written, and he says that it answers all the questions.
