5:26 pm [addycaissa]	Battle Royale Song Parodies! You can call it sad if you like, that's ok. But my obsession with Battle Royale has taken me into the realm of fanfiction - and me being me, I'm doing it the unconventional way. Song parodies. Originally intended purely for humourous purposes, I've realised I can make real fictions by altering the lyrics of existing songs. Sometimes the original song's theme is kept, sometimes that disappears and all that remains is the tune/structure. Not being musically minded this is far easier than creating my own stuff, but not a good deal less artistic if the lyrics are good enough. I've done three so far, which I present should you wish to comment (under a cut, natch). If you'd like my own input as to what I was thinking when I wrote them I'm happy to give it. It's probably best if you read them before reading my thoughts though. I'm also interested in writing more if there's an audience, so if anyone has any requests I'm happy to oblige. You could request a scene, character, moment, line or theme from the film/novel, or a genre/artist/song, or even both if you'd like - I'll write what people want to read. Enjoy! (hopefully!) You never expected it to turn out like this. What is this, you ask? The result of the BR Act. A freshmen class is taken to a remote island to participate in what we call The Program. What is The Program, you ask? Listen carefully, Class C. Everyone will be given one bag and it's going to contain everything you need to survive on the island. It has food, water, a journal, personal items for the females--and, of course, a weapon. This weapon can be anything--as useful as an Uzi machine gun to as useless as a pot lid. What about your backpacks, you ask? You can take those with you, too. Now I'm sure you've noticed by now, but you have a collar around your neck. That collar is a special device that will explode if you try to leave the island or take it off. Make sure you kill one person a day or it'll explode just for that, too.
