RULES:
1. Only bassists allowed!
2. All posts should be on topic. This is a loose rule, but also very easy to follow. Posts about your favorite bands and their bassists are cool and I will allow X-posts to advertise other bass communities, but if you want to post something like "The new Iron Maiden song RULES!!!" then there are more appropriate communities for that... like![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif)
iron_maiden. Basically, make sure you're posting something relevant for the other bassists here in the community.
3. Be civilized. Constructive discussion is encouraged, but bashing people and calling them "stupid" (and worse things) is not allowed. Everybody is entitled to their opinions; nobody's opinions are better than anybody else's in this community.
4. No icon stealing. If you like somebody's userpic please ask them if it is OK if you use it too.
5. Keep multiple quiz posts to a single thread. Nothing makes the community look more cluttered than a bunch of separate quiz/meme posts. Please try to post your personal results in reply to the original post.
6. Put pictures and lengthy posts behind an LJ-cut. People hate their friends pages being obliterated by massive pictures, especially when they are on 56K. Also, those really long posts are just an eyesore. [Click here to learn how to LJ-cut.]
7. No organized community flamewars. Making posts with the intent to rally others in the community against another LJ user or community is forbidden. It is also against LJ's Terms of Service.
8. If any of the above rules are broken, the Moderator reserves the right to BAN any user from the community.
Note: If you ever delete your journal you may be removed from the community. Should you undelete your journal you will have to join the community again.
