Transferring stores. [Mar. 9th, 2008|11:32 am]

So, I've never transferred stores before, and now I'm moving from Sunnyvale, CA to Murfreesboro, TN. Back with my parents. This is a SEVERE longshot as I'm asking for anyone who is...

1) A barista for Starbucks.
2) Lives in or works at Sbux in Murfreesboro, TN.
3) Is a member of this community (or they won't see this).
4) Actively reads this community (or they won't see this).

Does anyone have a serious suggestion as to which Murfreesboro, TN location I should transfer to? Is there one I should avoid, or are they all run well? All of the starbucks locations in my area are run well except for one, and I'm deathly afraid of transferring to a store like the one in my area.

So I had been working for a licensed store for 2 years and I finally got the job at "real," Starbucks. I've got to admit, I'm passionate about coffee, but I thought it was going to be so much different. My store is a newer store, and only does 10,000/week. It's extremely slow and I feel bad always saying "OMG it's so slow..," but I'm beginning to get really frustrated. Everything is really organized and since it's new it's pretty clean. I'm not a slacker, but I guess I'm just used to more business. On another note, the people at my store are really boring. I thought I'd find at least one person I'd have something in common with and after getting to know them I haven't found a thing. They're extremely bitchy too and talk behind each others back. With all that said (blah, blah, blah) I'm thinking about switching to another store. Is that an easy thing to do, and the best idea?

Customer orders a "grande mocha latte" and I of course, ring up a grande mocha. He sees the receipt as it prints out and this ensures.

Him: "I ordered a mocha latte, not a mocha"
Me: .......

Once I told him they were the same thing, really, he just seemed embarrassed. At least he didn't argue with me.

does anyone know how to find a (mental, not physical) therapist (aside from calling aetna myself)? i'm only covered for medical and dental and i figured my medical insurance would cover therapy (not psychiatry). but i can't seem to navigate to anyone on the aetna docfind section of the site? i was just wondering, since i'm sitting here anyway, and i figured i'd give this a try with you guys. i'll just call later this week to get it figured but if i can get some help online beforehand it'd be lovely :)
