| About: | Hello and welcome to Bargain Glam! This community was started because many of us craved a drama free place to sell and swap our cosmetics, as well as chat. Below are some general guidelines for posting here. But really, we're all just a bunch of make-up loving gals so let's not take this too seriously. TELL US WHO YOU ARE Before we add you in to the community, you will need to send an email to bargain.glam@gmail.com with your MUA name and your livejournal name. That will helps us to not get confused! Direct contact information is provided below if you have questions or concerns. All members posting sale/ISO posts must provide feedback in each post, each time. All new members must also provide some kind of verifiable feedback to join. KEEP YOUR SALES LIMITED We know you're eager to get rid of that eyeshadow that's been collecting dust in your drawer for a year now, but in an effort to not flood the boards, you are limited to posting a new sale once per week. That does not include ISO (in search of) posts, those may be made as often as you like so long as you have added something new to the list. NO FIGHTING, CHILDREN The "dibs" rule applies. First come, first serve. The first person to comment is the "winner" of that item. Each member may specify how long they are willing to "hold" an item while they wait for payment information. If the sale falls through it goes to the next person to comment. UPDATE YOUR SALES POSTS When you have sold something or something is pending, update your sales post with a strike out or something indicating the item is spoken for. AUCTION STYLE POSTING All auction style sales must have a time and date in which they end clearly stated in the original post, and a TIME ZONE for that end time. No OBO in auction posts (or best offer), you can't have it both ways. Either you want to auction it, or you want to sell it. NO PERSONAL INFORMATION Please do not post any personal information on the boards, whether it be your own or someone elses. For example, no full names or addresses. If you need to tell someone where to ship and you are not using paypal please use regular e-mail or some other form of private communication. This is in accordance with LJ's TOS. KEEP DISPUTES OFF THE BOARD Any issues regarding swaps or sales are to be kept private and settled amongst yourselves. We're not here to babysit and no one wants to read about your swap drama. THOU SHALT NOT BE A JACKASS Please be kind to your fellow poster, no rudeness or snarkiness. If you feel someone is posing a threat to you or someone else and you cannot work it out, take it to the mods. If you just plain don't like someone, it's simple, don't read their posts.
