Welcome back, everyone!

Welcome to barefootboys, round six! After a hiatus during the fall, we're back in business! We hope you'll join us for a February full of Remus/Sirius-centric goodness.

For newcomers and the forgetful, here are some guidelines and suggestions (though this is a pretty restriction-less community):

1. You are not required to post your response to a prompt on the same day that the prompt is posted. Feel free to use any prompt at any time during the month.
2. In fact, you don’t even have to use the prompts at all. If you have a wintry Remus/Sirius piece of fiction or art that wasn’t inspired by a prompt, you are still welcome to post it here!
3. Please hide all art and stories over 200 words behind an LJ cut. If you do not know how to use an LJ cut, please go here for an explanation.
4. There is no minimum or maximum word count for fic. We welcome anything from drabbles to multi-chapter stories! If you write a multi-chapter fic, however, you may want to post the first chapter only, and include links to the other chapters.
5. Prompts for the winterer session will only be posted during the month of February, but you are free to continue posting, viewing, and commenting throughout the year.
6. Cross-posting is definitely allowed, but keep in mind that members of barefootboys may also belong to other Remus/Sirius communities, such as remusxsirius and two_boys. If you are writing a large number of fics, you may want to cross-post only periodically, with a number of your barefootboys fics in one post.
7. Having a beta reader is not required. We do, however, encourage writers (especially beginning writers or those without much experience writing in English) to consider finding a beta reader (someone with a strong knowledge of writing conventions who can look over your work and offer suggestions for improvement).
