Did you watch Countdown last night? Sean Hannity says waterboarding is ok,
but Keith Olbermann (who did a special comment on his show criticizing Obama for [at the time of that earlier broadcast] not prosecuting the parties involved in torture of detainees) offered a challenge to Hannity

In Hampton Roads, VA, 95.7 FM radio station has been playing an "Obama Mix" of Mariah Carey's "Hero", which is the song with clips from Obama's nomination acceptance speech and a little of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech. They have been playing it since the DNC. The DJs have said that they get so many requests for it that they have provided it for download on their sites.

I don't think getting support from the Republicans of the Stimulus bill is really going to happen. Who has the jobs to benefit from the proposed tax cuts? People need money to spend to stimulate the economy and have infrastructure to create jobs. I wonder if the people are going to say "The hell with bi-partisan support! Pass the bill without the Republicans!"

No surprise, I agree with Krugman, and am not happy with the way Obama has been trying to play "let's make a deal" with the very people who got us into this mess.   THEIR POLICIES OVER THE PAST 40 YEARS ARE WHY WE ARE SINKING.

Empowering those idiots is not going to help one iota in getting us even remotely moving in the right direction again.  The Democrats need to get a bloody CLUE that they should just ignore anything Republicans think is a good idea and proceed as if they do not exist - as if they are as dead as their ideas.

We need a f-ing MIRACLE at this point to even start climbing out of this hole and not end up even worse off than The Great Depression.   Doing the same stupid things that got us here is NOT GOING TO WORK.  If they worked, we would not be in this mess!  Duh.

And I think Obama knows that as well as I do, yet there he is, acting as if, well, maybe we can compromise with these morons and it'll somehow all work out.

Having voted for some REAL CHANGE, and supposedly we WON, I would like to see the Democrats grow some balls. 

Heaven help us if they don't grow some very quickly.

This rant was much longer but I cut the middle part out.   It was about how most of what's going on in the economy now doesn't even affect me personally, and some of it is actually good for me, so why do I even care what happens to other people?  Because I'm NOT A REPUBLICAN, that's why, to make it short.
