About:

This community was made for those times that your banner makers disappear or decide they no longer have the time to make banners and you need to enlist someone new. Here, you can advertise in a place where there will be people who are interested in helping you, and you don't need to flood your own and other communities asking for help.

The community is also here to help find banner making positions for those people who are interested in becoming banner makers, but do not know of any available banner making spots in communities they are or would be interested in.

banners_wanted is a community to find new banner makers. It's not a place for you to ask for a custom banner to be made for you. If you wish to have a custom banner made for you, check out

custom_banners or if you would like a banner remade, check out

redobanners. If your banner request doesn't qualify at either of those places, check out

cb_overflow.

This community is not the place to advertise your icontest. Any icontest promo posts will be deleted. You are advertising for banner makers, not for your community.

MODS: When making a post please copy, paste and fill out:

Banner Makers: If you are requesting your availability, remember to put your username in the post and list what icon related subjects you are interested in (ie. specific actors, bands, anime, tv shows, movies, etc). Also, post a couple of example banners into your post (under a cut, please! - no exceptions) so people can see the kind of work you make.

Comment in the post of that community/user who has advertised the banner making position that you're interested, and let the arrangements be made from there, between those involved.

All images are to go under a cut.

Spamming, flaming, and anything deemed as troublemaking behaviour will not be tolerated here. Contact one of the mods if you have any problems.

Once your community is no longer in need of a banner maker, please comment at this post to make sure the community is taken off the list.

Please switch on the setting that sends you alerts when someone replies to your post so that you know when someone is offering help. If someone replies to your post and you do not answer them within a week, your post will be deleted.
