AN: Reading the story from beginning to end you will encounter at least two different choices. The initial choice will determine the setting of the story, which will be either A.) on the Academy’s bus, B.) at Pete’s house in LA, C.) a purely fictional tour date that never happened in which random members of Decaydance and MCR were in the same place at the same time. Deal with it.
Later choices will determine the participants at each of the locations. So if you go back and make a different choice, don’t get confused if everyone is in a different place/there are different people present or missing.

How it starts is that Gabe is a friend of a friend, maybe of a friend, if you really want to get into the particulars. They’ve circulated the same scene for a while now, and Mikey’s always kind of admired him from afar. They go to the same shows, get laid at some of the same parties. Now, they cut class at the same university and fake-ID their way into the same bars.
note: college semi-AU! mikey and gabe and ultragrrrl are at rutgers. midtown!gabe, pre-mcr!mikey. SHENANIGANS AND ANGST (SHENANIGANGST?) ENSUE.
( But how it really starts is back up in Ridgewood, at the Eyeball Records house, on the Thursday before the Thanksgiving long weekend. )
