I uploaded a full Foo Fighters concert from '96 (4/3/96, Toronto) for the foo fighters bbs, but decided I'll share it as well. http://allrespect.com/user_rantrave.php?user=dave&rant=3
This show has some rare performances... *Chicken Derby (aka My Poor Brain) *Satan's in the Manger jam *Floaty (Petra on vocals)
It also has a lot of early foo and pocketwatch stuff... e.g. winnebago, butterflies, podunk, gas chamber, etc.
Here are my other full concerts. I can upload them on a per request basis (since they take a long time to upload). It's not just all foo (tho mostly): http://dave.allrespect.com/collection/concerts

Hey guys, So, I'm posting this to all communities that I think would be interested. If you're looking for rare albums and such, check out this page: http://www.allrespect.com/collection_search.php?biggest There's a search box on the right side. You can type in a band name or album name that you're looking for.
It's kinda hit or miss, depending on what you're looking for, but I did some searches with very positive results. I was invited to this rock music community a while back. At the time, the site was by invite only, but it's now open for anyone to sign up. Here's the site: http://www.allrespect.com/
It's pretty cool and let's you find other people who share your same taste in music. You can also get music news and find others going to the same concert shows. You can even add a little form to your LJ page to compare your visitor's taste in music with your own. I got one on my LJ if you wanna see.
Anyway, I'm rambling... just thought I'd share this with the community! Later.

Yo, Another update for what is becoming one of my frequented sites, www.AllRespect.com. They recently added a new Concerts feature. The idea is for you to find other concert goers who are attending the same concerts and then share videos, mp3s, photos, etc. from that show.
The feature is not really being used, but I think it's a good idea, so I'm helping spread the word here. Anywhere, there are still some more invites left to join the new music community. Here's the link: http://www.allrespect.com/invite.php?promo=LJ
Enjoy, folks.

Hey all, I thought you may be interested in this new site, AllRespect.com.
It's a music community for people to find others with the same taste in music (mostly rock/alternative from what I see). You can also create your Music Compatibility Test to add to your LJ for your visitors to check how similar their taste in music is to yours. Check out mine on my journal.
Anyway, the site is still in beta and by invite only. However, they have a couple promotions going on -- one for LJ users (lucky us, eh?): http://www.allrespect.com/invite.php?promo=LJ
You can read a bit more about the site (clearer than what I'm explaining) here: http://www.allrespect.com/about.php
Here's my page if you get bored: http://dave.allrespect.com/
Cheers.

| Goodbye Glory - Rock/Alternative/Indie band from TORONTO CANADA |
[27 Jan 2007|10:11pm] |
Together as a group for just over two years, Goodbye Glory has accomplished more in their short career than most bands dream of accomplishing in a lifetime. The band emerged in December 2003, when Adam Staviss met Dante Berardi while working at a local Toronto bar. After jamming together on a few occasions, the two decided to write a few tunes. Through a close friend, Dante was introduced to Jan Rossi who stepped in on bass and turned to long time best-friend Kevin Costa for lead vocals. After auditioning several drummers the band was introduced to Renzo Casullo in early summer 2004. It only took one jam session for them to realize that Renzo was more than capable of filling the empty spot...READ MORE

Andi Starr || Save Yourself |
] |
Hi guys. I'm new here, but I wanted to put in a good word for Andi Starr. She is an amazing musician, not to mention one of the kindest and most "real" people I've ever known! Her style is fairly eclectic, but probably best described as ethereal rock. Her voice and music are quite unique, though it has been described as "hauntingly beautiful", and at times compared to Tori Amos, Shawn Colvin, The Cowboy Junkies, and The Cranberries. She just released her 4th album, "Leaving the White Line", which is currently available at CD Baby. For those in the Portland, Oregon area, there is a CD release party coming up on Januray 26th. It's $10 in advance or $12 at the door, with the album included in the price of entry, and cellist Adam Hurst opening the show. Please, do yourself a favor and listen to the amazingly beautiful music of Andi Starr, which will touch your soul and open your heart. x-posted everywhere
