The Bamboo House is a place for us to love and appreciate the innovative art of Asian filmmaking and cinematography. For each entry, post your favorite stills from an Asian film that best captures the perfect cinematic moments. Keep in mind that this community is about the art of Asian cinema and that we're particularly looking for quality, not quantity. Anyone can cap a whole movie! If you don't know how to cap a movie, click here for tutorials to help you. Feel free to comment on the film itself as well as the images.

01. Please choose your images very carefully before you post an entry.
02. There's no limit to how many images you can post as long it's not overly excessive or repetitive.
03. Set entry security to "friends" only.
04. Place the movie title(s), year,
and director(s) in the subject line.
05. Place only 1 image above the lj-cut.
06. Indicate any major spoilers or graphic/nudity images in the lj-cut line.
07. Indicate the number of images in the lj-cut line. (This is entirely optional.)
08. Upload images to a free hosting server. Try Photobucket or ImageShack
THE COMMUNITY RULES

01. All images must show some sort of cinematic value and quality.
02. All images must be size consistent at least 500 pixels or higher in width.
03. Do not hotlink images.
04. Do not alter or crop images in any way. You may resize if needed.
05. No text above the lj-cut whatsoever.
You may leave some text under the lj-cut
if it's absolutely necessary.
06. No thumbnails, movie posters, or watermarked/pixilated/stolen images.
07. You may post images from the same film that have been previously posted.
08. You must comment and credit if you're using someone's images.
