Hi, I'm Shellie.
I'd very much like for this community to not be dead, as I do like Penelo, even if I am not so very fond of Balthier.
And I'd like to put a disclaimer of sorts in here: I have not yet finished the game. And, while I did do a little research, parts of this are probably very inaccurate, and so for that reason, this fic is AU. For all intents and purposes, FFXII: Revenant Wings does not exist.

| Looking for a Penelo roleplayer! |

My apologies if this community isn't generally meant for this type of thing, but I've had a difficult time finding such a large gathering of people interested in this pairing, so here's hoping!
My name is Steve, and basically I'm looking for people to roleplay FFXII with. I'm interested in one-on-one roleplays, not communities, and preferably done through email. (AIM is an option too, but I've found that doing it through email is a lot simpler and allows for better quality.)
I'm used to doing replies generally 3+ paragraphs, fluctuating depending on what's going on, and like my writing partner to at least aim for that as well. Storylines are generally R-rated and mature, whether that be action and gore, foul language, adult situations - whatever.
I'm interested in most pairings of the main group, but Balthier/Penelo seems to me like a pairing with too much potential and too little attention. Preferably canon, with midgame or postgame both being fine. I'm generally very open and receptive to ideas. I'd just be glad to find some good writers to roleplay with.
If interested, please reply to this post with your contact information and a short writing sample. The sample doesn't have to be directly related or even anything stellar; just enough to show me you have a grasp on things like the shift key. Things like grammar, and an imagination. And of course here is one of my own, though be careful, it's thick with end-game spoilers! The example is a short narrative I wrote from Basch's perspective, and I did spend some time fine-tuning it, so please don't be intimidated!
