| About: | Welcome to BallpointPens, the community solely for all you artists out there who've come to appreciate the utter joy in using the oh-so-underappreciated ballpoint! Despite being cheap & widely available (not to mention in a variety of sizes and colours!), the ballpoint pen is an efficient medium for any illustrator- from working on a permanent sketch to inking a final piece, we all need a few ball bearings in our lives. Feel free to post anything you'd like concerning ballpoint pens, including: - ballpoint techniques - your preferred size, colour & brand - news (you know, if it ever does come up...) And, most importantly, - your art! The primary reason for the creation of this community was to give all of the BP fanatics around the internet a place to gather and archive their own ballpointed contributions to the art world. All art, from sketches to finished pieces, are welcome, as long as you avoid posting any Pr0n. Tasteful nudes are always welcome (seeing as my ballpoint is one of my 'media of choice' during life drawing), but try to lj-cut 'em to respect the boundaries of other members who may not feel comfortable viewing the nude body.
