LISTED CANADIANS
I just finished sending Locus our bestselling titles for October. It gave me a rush of vicarious pride: Canadians claimed a lot of spots. On the mass-market list: Jo Walton's Farthing was #2, Robert Charles Wilson's Spin was #3 (it's been on the list since February), and Karl Schroeder's Sun Of Suns sat at #7 *. On the hardcover list: Wilson's Axis held at #2, Schroeder's Queen Of Candesce rose to #3, and Robert J. Sawyer's collection Relativity came back onto the list at #4.
Impressive, eh?
* Karen Miller's Awakened Mage was #10. Karen was born in Canada, but moved to Australia at the age of two. I'm tempted to claim her anyway, whaddya think?
