There really is nothing like home-made cookies! These were absolutely scruptious, and the perfect weekend cooking project for when the weather's freezing cold.

i actually happened into a theme post!

blueberries were on sale, and i was already trying these low-fat oatmeal cookies out...then i added white chocolate and probably made them not-so-low-fat-anymore. though i do recommend the original recipe (with boring old raisins instead) as a general lowfat recipe.

I spent 5 hours in the kitchen baking this morning. I'd made the dough for three batches of cookies last night so it was bake-central this morning. My mother is participating in a garden tour and wanted cookies to serve to the visitors. I was happy to oblige her. While I was at it, I whipped up some sticky buns for my sweet-tooth uncles.

I got this recipe from Smitten Kitchen.

I love sea salt, & this past Christmas I was gifted with Fleur de Sel de Guérande. Wowza! So when I came across this particular recipe - I knew that it would be perfect. With or without the white chocolate, I think I've found my oatmeal cookie recipe. If I would do anything differently, I would try to make them a more uniform size & would use a tad more salt (I'm a fiend).

First off, thank you for all the tips that people gave in my last post. The ice-cream scoop tip worked out fabulously. :D Today, I bring another kind of oatmeal cookie. One with bananas and chocolate chips. :D

Hello there, community! Just a new person here, coming forward with some cookies. :D I normally bake muffins because I always thought I couldn't make good cookies without a mixer (my brother took the mixer XD). My mum told me that cookies don't require a mixer so I gave it a shot. Took some elbow grease but I'm happy with the result. :D


I still have to figure out how to get them all nice and round. But the people I gave them liked them. :D I actually forgot the brown sugar (only mixed in the white sugar) but then realized that if I did mix in the brown sugar, it'd taste too sweet.

After hearing all the raves about these, I decided to try them for myself!

Long time lurker, first-time poster.

Oddly enough, I'm one of those gals who bakes when she's sorely in need of a study break...
As such, I baked several batches of oatmeal raisin cookies last night using this recipe.

It's rainy and depressing today so I thought why not make cookies? They are super easy and quick-I got the idea, created the recipe, mixed it all together and baked the cookies in under an hour. Recipe here.

So, I make lots of oatmeal full treats. I am breastfeeding twins, so the oatmeal helps keep my supply abundant for them..

I call em..Oatmeal Dump Cookies. (ewwie name, yupper) 

I made these cookies for my boyfriend awhile ago and they were so good that he had me make him even more. :)  The recipies very easy but the results are quite satisfying.  It's a nice twist on the standard chocolate chip cookie.  I got the recipie from the book Simply Delicious (which is a great cookie book I must add).


These cookies are SO GOOD to eat.  I was having fun with the chocolate chips so I stuck on a few on top of the cookies after I had spooned out the batter onto the baking sheets.  Haha I attempted to spell out J's and make hearts with the chocolate chips even on some of the cookies but I failed miserably.   At least it was fun. :)
