A bit of Brian news... [Oct. 21st, 2009|09:34 pm]

Hey guys,

I write a blog on Jeffrey Combs, The Combs Corner who stars in the upcoming thriller Urgency with Brian and I came across a bit of Brian news that I thought you guys might like:

1) Anyone in Australia doesn't have to wait long for Urgency - it will be released on R4 DVD November 18th! If anyone knows where one can purchase this DVD online, please let me know! I've been trying to find it myself, but the distribution company claims it will only be in brick and mortar (non-web) stores. You can check out the trailer and DVD cover here. I had the privilege of seeing a private screening of the film earlier this year and it's very good, especially for a lower budget movie. Brian and Jeff's scenes are fantastic and the director told me they really enjoyed working together. :)

2) I catch a lot of horror news in my travels and there's this cool new horror movie called Grace that Brian starred in the original "teaser" short that was made to woo production companies into making the longer version of the film. Be warned: the short is pretty graphic for non-horror fans (and especially for poor Brian!), but it's still very cool. Be sure to watch both vids as the second version has a commentary and they talk about what a good sport he was through the whole process. Check that out here.

Just wanted to share a bit of news with you guys. :)

Projects in the pipeline? [Oct. 21st, 2009|03:58 pm]

Hello everybody,

First post here, I believe... though I've commented before on some of the goodies that have been posted.

I was wondering if anyone has heard of anything for BAG? Any TV work or movie, besides what's already listed in IMDb...

I'm also trying to get  my hands on an old movie of his: Unwed Father. Anyone has any idea? I found a copy on eBay but it's a bit too pricey, plus I'm not in the States.

Many thanks for your help.

Oh, and I've made some grabs of an episode of Freddie where BAG's character dresses up for a showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Let me know if you'd like to see those posted here.

Press Release for Brian's movie "The Wild Girl" [Sep. 14th, 2009|10:21 am]

BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN AND ACADEMY AWARD NOMINEE GRAHAM GREENE STAR IN "THE WILD GIRL," A HALLMARK CHANNEL ORIGINAL MOVIE WHICH HAS BEGUN PRODUCTION FOR PREMIERE IN 2010

Brian Austin Green ("Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles," "Beverly Hills 90210") and Academy Award nominee Graham Greene ("Dances With Wolves") star in "The Wild Girl," a Hallmark Channel Original Movie set in the 1930s about a group of Americans who embark on a perilous expedition to exchange a young Apache girl for the son of a wealthy Mexican land owner who has been kidnapped by her tribe.

"The Wild Girl" has begun production in Toronto, Canada, and is set to premiere on Hallmark Channel in 2010.

Ned Giles (Green), an aspiring photographer, is desperate for a job at a local newspaper. When he notices a flyer advertising the chance for privileged men to sign up for an adventure into Old Mexico to save a young boy from the clutches of wild Apache Indians, he convinces Tolley Phillips (Mathew Edison, "House Party"), the troublemaking son of a railroad tycoon, to bring him as his valet so he can photograph the story.

When Ned and Tolley arrive at the expedition's base camp, Ned wanders off alone and discovers a young Apache girl lying in a motionless heap on the ground. He brings her back to the camp where the two local Apache scouts guiding the expedition -- Joseph (Greene) and Albert (Gregory Odjig, "Elijah") -- determine she must be brought back to her people in order to survive. Margaret Hawkins (Kathleen Munroe, "Accidental Friendship"), a graduate student traveling with the expedition as an unofficial anthropologist, negotiates with the expedition authorities to let her, Ned, Tolley, and another valet travel with the guides ahead of the rest of the group and attempt to trade the girl with the Apache Indians for the kidnapped boy.

During the journey, the wild girl unexpectedly befriends the Americans and they form a remarkable relationship that ultimately determines their fate.

Based on the book by Jim Fergus, "The Wild Girl" is being produced by Muse Entertainment Productions. Michael Prupas ("Pillars of the South"), Joel Rice ("Christmas Choir"), William Stewart ("The Rock"), David Helpern ("Leave it to Beaver"), Irene Litinsky ("The Last Templar") and Jesse Prupas ("Family Biz") are the executive producers. Steve Solomos is the producer. Don McBrearty ("Accidental Friendship") is directing from a script by Ronald Parker ("Broken Trail").

Nice interview with Thomas Dekker who says a TV movie may be on the cards.

Apparently The Sarah Connor Chronicles lost out to, the cheaper to make, Dollhouse.

I miss my show!

Brian on Smallville [Jul. 27th, 2009|10:12 am]

Lots of reports are surfacing about the clip that they had showed during the Smallville panel at Comic Con. If you'd like to see the clip, it is under the cut. Brian starts at around 1:08. It is a bad angle. Note that every show at Comic Con ask to not let the clips, any clips, leak out, but it's out there, of course, so please note that this may disappear.

Smallville, season 9 Comic Con trailer )

Anyway, Smallville fans were CHEERING when Brian came on screen, which is a good thing. Go Brian! :D

E!'s Watch with Kristin says: Brian Austin Green's Metallo has a very sinister look to him. He's seen with the Kryptonite power source on his chest, iconic for the Metallo character.

Ausiello says: As of now, he's on board for two episodes, but Peterson says they're hopeful he'll do more.

Per SciFi Scoop (link has vids of the panel): Metallo (Brian Austin Green) will be in the first two episodes

Smallville airs Fridays at 8/7 CT on the CW. It will premiere Sept. 25.
