Hey! Just wondering if anyone is going to the Hamilton show and what seats you got??
I bought my tickets today and got FL4 Row 20 Seats 17-19..not the greatest but if there are any empty seats closer than mine, I'll definitely be moving up again lol. I went to the Ottawa show in August and was in 8th row, then moved up to 2nd since there were like 6 empty seats! :) I'm so excited to see them again!!

hey guys, so i have a question

has the fanclub released any information yet about this week's presales? any information on the 10/31 concert in montclair? ticket prices, general admission or seating, is there a VIP package available, what the prices are, and when the presale is?

cuz i'm thinking about joining the fanclub so i can buy tickets/vip for this show but i want to know all the specifics before i buy a membership. also, when u become a member, is ur account automatically activated or is there a waiting period?

ETA: What is the limit as to how many concert tickets you can buy through the presale through the fanclub for a specific concert? Also, what's the limit on how many VIP packages you can buy for a specific concert?? Crucial that I obtain this information hehe =D

I have a small question about the small tour.
I'm not a fan club member, I was till about black & blue and then never bothered after that.

I was looking at tickets for the show in Hamilton at Copps and I checked ticketmaster.ca and stuff and there is NO word on tickets for the general public, or even the tour...

Are they not opening it to the general public or are they selling it through somewhere else?
& are they not doing the AMEX pre-sale either??

Just a question..sorry if this has been asked a lot before.
Can anyone tell me if it's worth it to join the fan club just for pre-sale tickets, in your opinion? What kind of seats do you really get from ordering tickets from there? Am I just as better off to go on ticketmaster the minute they go on sale and get tickets from there? lol. I like sitting as close as I can get..and I got like 9th row from ticketmaster the last time but I wouldn't mind sitting closer! lol.. thanks to anyone who replies

Just a random musing:

What a beauty marketing is. When Snoop Dogg came out with his 70s video, everyone thought it was such a cool and original idea.
When BSB came out with JWYTK's 80s video, everyone went, "WTF?" (in fact, that's exactly what TRL said when premiering it, but that's definitely for another disucssion)

Just a thought brought to you by seeing Snoop Dogg's video on MTVH -- aka proof that MTV still has music...if you have the super-super premium cable package and get MTVH.

A study by a psychology professor has found links between personality and music taste.

The Heriot-Watt university professor Adrian North said: "We have always suspected a link between music taste and personality. This is the first time that we've been able to look at it in real detail. No-one has ever done this on this scale before.

"People do actually define themselves through music and relate to other people through it but we haven't known in detail how music is connected to identity."

According to the study heavy metal fans are gentle, indie music listeners lack self-esteem and lovers of pop music are uncreative.

He found that country and western fans are hard-working, rap fans outgoing and jazz and classical music supporters are innovative and bursting with self-confidence.

Contrary to the stereotype, heavy metal fans are gentle and at ease with themselves but they tend not to be hardworking.

Those who listen to heavy metal and classical music share character traits of being creative, at ease and introverted.

But classical music fans have high self-esteem while heavy rock fans lack self-belief.

More than 36,000 people around the globe took part in the survey, the biggest of its type ever conducted.

They were asked to rate 104 musical styles in the study and were also questioned on aspects of their personality.

Last Show of the Tour!

Just got back not to long ago from BSB show and they were amazing. Since it was the last show of the tour they were acting super crazy. During Howie's solo AJ came out wearing a mask and a body suit I have video of this I couldn't stop laughing.We had Howie come out and cover AJ in green tape during Drive By Love. At one point Nick came out wearing a batman mask then threw it out into the audience. Baylee came out and introduced them he is getting cuter and cuter all the time! I took video but the sound is a little garbled because of where we were sitting in the audience right by the speakers. But the highlight of the show was a marriage proposal. This couple from Chicago made trip to the show and the guy proposed on stage with all the boys there.

It's been years and years, but BSB was actually the first fan fiction I read, I think. (Sailor Moon and BSB may be too close to call. LOL.) Back then, I got it off backstreet.net and ff.net when they had a celebrity section, but now I don't know where the heck to turn to.

I'd like to travel down memory lane with new eyes. Does anyone have any recs? Of websites, communities (bsb_fiction seems deserted, even after I joined), or links to actual stories? Bonus, if the sites are active.

I woke up about 10 o'clock. Im in Edmonton Canada. Rolled out of the bunk, walked to the front door of the bus, opened the door, took a deep breath in........ And froze my nipples off. Its freakin cold, lol. Actually its awsome cause i love the fresh Canadian air. MMMMMM MMMM GOOD. Anyways, I'm here chillin with my brother in Catering now. Were both wired off of COFFEE .... AHHHHH!!!!! Its an awesome thing to have him out here with me. I love him so much. :). So, in a nut-shell , Very excited about the great things that are happening in my life. Bout the new album with the Boyz, about my health, bout the new relationships I'm developing. Finally, I feel like I'm turning into the old nick again. Actually! The new improved positive Nick. I hope this is okay..but I now find myself with one extra ticket to see the boys this up coming Saturday 9/6.
linear_flower was suppose to come up to see them with me but now she can't come =( So I'm out a concert buddy and have an extra ticket. Anyone here still looking to go to the show and would like to meet up and buy the ticket and go together? Mesage me or comment.

Sudbury, Ontario!!!

I drove the 5 and a half hours to Sudbury, Ontario on tuesday for the Backstreet Boys concert at the Sudbury Arena!

My sister, her friend, my friend as well as myself, were all sitting on the stairs inside the venue waiting in line for the soundcheck.. and then all of a sudden (we were really early) we looked up.. and there, walking right up the stairs beside us was Aaron Carter! We of course stopped him and asked for photos! he was soo nice!!!! And then we went in for the soundcheck, which by the way.. was amazing! and then we lined up for the photos.. and because i was a soundcheck winner i was first in line. The guys came down from the stage and stood behind the barricade right beside me.. and AJ was like 2 feet away from me.. so i was like "AJ, could you guys not stand behind a barricade!? PLEASE?!" and then AJ smiled and turned to Howie and was like "I think we should move and go around... because this just isnt going to work." and then there was about a minute pause.. and then Brian looked over at me.. so i made eye contact and i was like, "Brian, come around!" and then Marcus looked at me and was like "excuse me! you dont get a choice!" and then Marcus was like "Are you guys coming around or staying behind there?" and then AJ was like "let's come around!" WOOO HOOO!:D hahah Then i walked up to AJ and Nick and shook their hands.. and I walked towards Howie (my love) and i said "Howie, could i get a hug?" and he was like "of course!" and he hugged me! it was fantastic! and then i went to Brian and I was like "Brian, can i have a hug?" and he was like "well.. we aren't supposed to.. but, OF COURSE YOU CAN!" and it was fantastic!!! i smiled for the photo and then as me and my friend were walking out, we saw Aaron and he was coming back into the stage area with pop corn, and we were like "HI AARON!" and he was like "HI AGAIN!" lol haha it was the best soundcheck and concert for me thus far!!

Hey, all. So... while not as good as actually MEETING the boys, I had an awesome time at Ravinia and wanted to gush about it like a teenybopper. It's behind the cut for those who are interested.

I knew my seats were good, but I had no idea that they were FRONT ROW so when I got there and was kicking the barricade, I blinked twice and said "No fucking way."

The rest of the night went similarly. Girlicious grossed me out on a number of levels, but once the boys came onstage all of that disappeared. "Larger Than Life" with the "Rocky" routine was cute. AJ looked at me right when he turned around and I think I turned 16 shades of red. This should have been an indicator of things to come, but somehow I thought I could still be all... chill about being so close.

Right after that, they broke out and ran around and I got to shake hands with Howie and AJ right away. Brian was making faces and feigning hysterics mimicking a bunch of girls and I thought that was pretty hysterical... until they played "You Can Let Go" and AJ leaned down and sang "Don't you know that I'm your place to run?" to me and I almost wet myself in excited glee. Attempt at being cool and rational: FAILURE.

Brian came over and shook my hand while they were singing something early in the show. I know it was "Larger Than Life" first, but I'm not sure if it was "Any Other Way" right after that or "I Want It That Way" and somewhere close after that was "You Can Let Go."

Nick seemed determined to ignore my side of the stage, but when he was over near us and looking down, I yelled up and gestured "NICE TIE!" because, uh, that bowtie was spiffy. He rolled his eyes.

I really liked all the solos. I think Howie's was pretty spectacular in particular, though of course not much beats having AJ doing pelvic thrusts DIRECTLY above my head. I got to shake Brian's hand again later in the show and AJ's too. I told AJ (with much gesturing) I liked the hand tattoos. He grinned and said thanks.

At the end of the show when they came back out to sing "Shape of My Heart" I gave AJ a neon green friendship bracelet and asked if he'd be my friend. He said "for life," which made me grin like an idiot. Then the show was over... but hopefully they'll come back soon. I was really, really pleased with the set list. They played most of my favorite new stuff (though I kind of wish I could have switched "Trouble Is" out for "Everything But Mine") and a fair amount of old stuff, too. Good times.

So... bottom line, the show was great and if anyone sees AJ wearing a neon green friendship bracelet (like the kind you get for prizes at arcades?) I'd love to hear about it.

As you know if you read GretaWire, we interviewed the Backstreet Boys at Wolf Trap…they are extremely talented and very, very, very, very nice….you will see the interview soon but in the meantime, here is a minute or so we shot with my handycam (OTR Producer Cory Howard actually shot.)
