So, our modest cosplay group performed a Baccano! Skit at A-fest, and I thought I'd go ahead and just share it with you other fans out there. Unfortunately we overlooked the One foot rule, so we didn't place. Ah well, we're proud of it nonetheless. Also, we took a mini photoshoot so there are some random pictures too...

Hello fellow Baccano! lovers!! The Baccano! cosplay group I'm in had a couple photoshoots AGES ago. I meant to post them after Fanime, but I kept putting it off. pr0t0manblues post about Otakon reminded me at a time when I had the drive, so here we go! (I'm looking forward to seeing pictures from Otakon, guys!!)

These pictures come from all many different cameras, I didn't take all of them. This post is incredibly image heavy, there are tons or pictures in it.

The Fanime post reminded me of this, so I shall post some pictures. We had a large group at ACen this year (seriously, we had a huge portion of the cast - it was insane).

(You might remember me, I did post a few pictures a while back of in progress, I assure you it looks much better now - also if you were at ACen you might have seen our skit. Which apparently went over the heads of the judges and didn't think it was actually a joke. Oh well, things happen!) Hey all! We had Open House at our college yesterday and to go with the theme of the event (Destination: Cal Poly!), we decided to use Baccano as our club's theme. I posted some pictures from the event on my journal.

It would appear it is the season of Baccano cosplay! Because I too have some to share. Granted this is two people of a group of 8 (eventually, I will post pictures of the entire group, who includes Nice, Jacuzzi, Miria, Isac, Ennis, Ladd, Claire and Chane - it just would happen only two of us have finished costumes), since we were the first to be finished with them, so here they are.

So this past weekend at Anime Boston, my friends and I did a righteous Baccano! cosplay of justice. We didn't see ANY other Baccano! cosplayers--where were you guys?--although we did run into a guy who said he did Graham on Friday. Plenty of pictures under the cut.. needless to say it is image-heavy.

We had so much fun, it was such an awesome time. More people should do Baccano! cosplay. A decent amount of people recognized us, although not enough... spread the love, guys.

For those who don't know, Momocon was this past weekend, complete with 4 times the expected levels of Baccano!! Though sadly, I only have pictures of myself.

so, yeah, I was at the NY anime festival as claire for saturday and sunday and I was surprised I got as much attention as I did!  my other cosplay getups would sometimes get a nod or two, or nothing at all, but I got lots of nods/photo requests as claire. the three favorites would be me being asked if I was tuxedoman (capcom missed the ball on that one ...) , kobun shizuno (he's the co-director of the new eva movie) said it was 'sugoi' and being interviewed by some people from the IFC. (I don't know which is a scarier idea: having rail tracer on tv or me. XD) really, most people didn't know who I was, but were like WHOA, GUY IN WHITE SUIT/CONDUCTOR/MILITARY GUY. three actually did know (two asked where the blood was) and it's likely the director knew, too. click for pic.
