As babysit ends, we thought it would be a good idea to have players and fans post about their favorite threads from babysit and stoneybrook_ct over the past 2+ years we've been playing. If you're able to do so easily, we'd love for you to include a link to your favorite(s) in your comment.

It doesn't have to stop there, though. Maybe you couldn't get enough of a certain character, or some particular personal journal entries stood out, or you want to share some other memories and thoughts of the game. Feel free. That's what this post is for. :)

Also, be sure to keep an eye out for character epilogues written by current and former players.

Hey babysit fans:

New RPG afoot! Junior year of high school for the (older) babysitters club members!

I am currently taking submissions for the new RPG, forever_bsc. Three characters still need be claimed: Dawn, Jessi, and Claudia. There's also a list of characters who will become available after the three original sitters are taken!

Players from babysit get first dibs. On October 1, I am opening the characters to anybody. So, babysit-ers, if you want to play someone in particular, let me know by October 1! The game starts October 15. (We'll be doing back entries to Labor Day, the start of school.)

But I will! Because it's been an awesome couple of weeks!

Byron and Logan make me happy. I love that... ;) (Working off some steam, huh?? Likely story!) And having all three triplets together again is just...SO cool.

And speaking of together again, having the Stevenson twins together again is pretty awesome, too. Anna was fun. Anna and Abby together? You guys are super.

I'm sensing resentful Vanessa-Angelia, I wait patiently!! I can tell already you've got plans for her.

Tiffany's depression is also one I'm looking forward to. I can't wait to see that one unravel, Lauren.

Overall? Great job, everyone!

Know what would be totally cool...have the BSC members have a re-union maybe in NYC or someplace close to there and have all of them talk out whatever stresses they've had in their first year of college and get TOTALLY DRUNK (including Mary Anne)! That'd be neat. Have them totally lower their inhibitions while they're drunk and tell raw truths and some get flirty, others get giggly, others get teary and all. That'd be a good storyline for the RPG.

I kinda wish the RPG maspier wasn't portrayed as stuffy and prudish; I think the real Mary Anne in college wouldn't be afraid to curse, have sex, get drunk sometimes and all just like most others. Sure, she'd stay her shy, sensitive, loveable self, but I get the feeling whoever's playing Mary Anne is having trouble having her do much. Also, I'd think her interests would expand more. Also, shopping_stace is portrayed as a bit too shallow; I think she outgrew her boy-crazy phase by the time she was fourteen; I think she'd have more serious things on her mind. Sure, I think she still likes to shop, but I do think she has other things on her mind than guys and shopping; she's actually brighter than she comes across in the RPG. I also don't see the real Stace having a jealous fit over an ex-boyfriend of hers going out with another girl; she's more mature than that. Anyone else feel this way?

What movies and music do you think various characters in the RPG would like, and why?

Cokie is a huge Madonna fan because Madonna, especially during the "Material Girl" era, is her idol. She also likes a lot of clubby/dance type stuff, like Beyoncé. Logan likes Aerosmith a lot, as well as the Doors and Fleetwood Mac. Not sure why; he just does. He probably also likes the Garden State soundtrack a lot; I see him being a big fan of that movie.

I just want to say how much Jade bsc_mallory completely and totally rocks. I LOVE how Mallory has been yanked out of her quiet little shell and dropped smack into the world of the popular, cheerleading, BSC leading brilliant people.

She makes a much better Mallory for that.

i highly enjoy reading this rpg. you all are doing a great job portraying the bsc in the future, and i am interested to see what will happen when everyone heads off to school.
i do have one question though, what happened to alan and abby? i thought they were going to college together, and suddenly abby's staying in stoneybrook with no mention of him. did they break up?

Why aren't there any lesbian (or bisexual) girls? I always thought Mal, Kristy or Abby would turn out to like girls.
