I'm a 2nd year reading Econs and Mgt under UOL.

Let me tell you something about being goalie... It's a heck load of fun!
So do try it if you have even the slightest urge to.
I was an outfield player before, and turning gk is something I have never regretted.

Wow. Lynn and Hui Shan really did introduce themselves well. I guess I should add on a little bit more about myself too.
I graduated from TP this year doing diploma in information technology, didn't take up any sports except having ballet to keep me occupied till poly year 1 then i quit due to timing. In sec school, i was a school team player for my CCA, Judo. A brown belter holder and nothing much interesting about it(:
I'm attached with one the guy team's players. I knew him when i joined SRC and looking at him play FB cause a sense of curiousity in me. That explains why I'm join FB (:

Well, I guess I am the 3rd now..ermm.. there's a door gift when i post here meh? so where's mine, Esther?? haha..
Really glad to be part of blacks! hee=)
I can feel that the bond here is really strong.
A real great team is where all the players are united, it doesn't matter if individual skills are good. right? and of cos, commitments are equally important. Maybe i can intro more abt myself and share some of my experience with you guys =)
I am Hui Shan. Ya, ppl call me sotong too. Was given this nick when i was in Sec sch and i acknowledge it ah.. nv deny.. Sotong is usually associated with BLUR, and yes, indeed i am.. haha =)
Graduated from SP in 2006, working now.. and will be studying in UniSIM (BSc in Finance)in Jan'08. Hope can get my student membership soon (cross finger*) so that we can battle together in the IVP this year. If can't then "bo bian" (no choice) lo.. but still will be training hard with u guys and give support.
I have been playing floorball for 3.5 yrs when i started out in SP.
As we were the pioneer batch to start floorball as CCA, there was no proper training ground, equipment and coach. We had training for a month before we joined the IVP. The funniest part was, we were only taught to run after the ball and clear the ball out of the rink.
As i was so "in love" with floorball and eager to improve myself then, i joined club and there i was in Squirrettes til 2005.
Squirrettes is like a mirror image of SP team, no proper management, training ground and coach. I still rem the first training we had, it was in the night, at the basketball court and without the lights on.how pathetic.. haha..
In Sept 2005, i joined SKOOLS floorball and played for the Youth team in Pesta Sukan. After the Pesta, I got in OWLS and have played for them for 2 leagues til now le. Alhough i have been with them for about 2 yrs or so, til now, i still feel that there is some kind of "thick wall" in between me and my team mates and this "invisible wall" is something that couldn't perfect the team.
In conclusion, I really hope that we can work this "bond" thingy out together and we can play as a real TEAM. Learn from each other and accommodate each others' differences.
Ya, lets work hard together!

yay...i'm the second person to post here... now where's my door gift esther? ;p
i think its a great idea to have this exclusive community for us to bond, hopefully everyone will post something yea!!
Lemme do some intro... I'm lynn, some girls in the team call me lynieee (which i oso dunno why but i like.. haas). I'm a righty, usually i play as a defender, once in a blue moon i'd play forward during trainings.. i'm happily attached to a guy whom i got to know when i first joined BLACKS...kekeke.. the girls in the team are very friendly n chatty which makes floorball even more enjoyable (=
It was good to see so many girls at the last training, both seniors n newbies! i was very encouraged to see many of the new girls borrowing sticks & balls back after the last training so they can train on their own. Jiayou jiayou~~

Its 1 mth + more before we begin IVP. Let this be a place where we evaluate every training, feedback on how each of us can individually improve and of course, with feedbacks, comes encouragement..
