Fight the power! Not the disease infested opponents.
I sent neopets a nasty letter (profanity included) that will no doubt get my account frozen. I have decided to leave neopets for good. Why? The elitest attitude of theneopetsteam. "You can fight in our war if you can afford to keep healing your pet of the disgusting disease we'll give it after every other fight at the cost of 30k+. Theneopetsteam can go to hellopia and my pets can rot! i've had enough!

Ummm, you know you can just go to the Healing Springs and get healed, right? Sometimes it takes a few visits before you are healed, but I got sick and got healed on the first try.

Yeah I was just about to say this...and besides..your pets never really Die..they just look pitiful. If one of mine get sick I just wait until the healing springs heals me

But some jus want to throw hissy fits...ah well

Yeah, I guess it just caught the original poster on a bad day. The one drawback of sick pets is that they can't fight in the battledome, so if you didn't heal your pet before the next wave of fights came out you wouldn't be able to fight in the war. But it's pretty easy to get healed at the Healing Springs.

I never wanted a real war. Not in my world or on Neopia. I don't agree with war. War only kills people and souls.

I really don't care to waste any more time on the site. I've had enough. I've never just let my pets lay sick because that cross eyed bleach blond hoochie fish could only manage to heal all my pets 3 neopoints each when only my fighting pet was sick. Now a 1 player battledome opponant can chuch a poison snowball at my pet every damn time I fight it.

IN A WAR?! This is supossed to be a damn war! You know? Hit 'em hard! Hit 'em fast! Kick as much butt as you can as fast as you can and let's go home and back to a peacfull world. What? Now are they going to teach us long term war stratagies? Do those of us who want to play in the war have to either let our pets lay sick for what can take days to cure or feel the finacial realities of war? For crying out loud I live in the US! I HAVE GEORGE DUBYAH (can't pronounce the word nuclear) BUSH leading my country! I don't want to think about a long drawn out battle. We are already in one.

Anyway like I said. I didn't leave my pets lay sick until they made it imposible to do anything else.

I'm not a gamer I liked making my pets web pages and painting my pets to match their names. I had a gallery of some of the coolest gross stuff. I liked helping others get their own painted pets. I fought my pet LeatherMenace only in the 1 player dome, since I felt fighting another player's pet was to much like the pit bull fights that go on in my town. The 1 player dome pits your pet against the "bad guys" I also fought him in wars to champion good.

I don't want to play on a site that wants to play a long drawn out expensive war. It only makes Neopia as ugly as the world I wanted to escape.

When I think about neopets right now. I see a bunch of battle battered neopets hanging out the windows of poverty ridden shacks trying to heal on their own while their owners try to make neopoints to heal them or the ones who just let them lay there to rot. My own LeatherMenace now among them. If I want to see that I need only turn on my local news station.

GW may be able to make my world hell by making war, but I don't spend my free time with him. Nor will I with neopets.com

if you didn't want a war, or disliked what it stood for, why did you participate and sign up in the first place?

Erm, you do realize that this is just a game? I don't think TNT intended to create some overarching metaphor for the global political scene, and trying to anthropomorphacize pets into that kind of situation seems a bit extreme, IMO.
Quit if you want, but there's no need to overreact and make such a dramatic statement.

Why don't you use a Pteri to fight, as I did. Sure, it went sick, but, each time, healing costed 20 NP.

Not 33 000 NP.
