Since it's the week for possible baaaaaaaby human posts, I'd like to just throw out a little reminder on comment etiquette. I know that we have a lot of people from [info]childfree and many other members who aren't fans of the baby human posts, and I know that this must be a tough week for them in this community. However, there's a rule for this community that says "If your comment isn't saying something NICE about the post, then DON'T COMMENT." and this applies to this and all other "baaaby human" posts (and of course to all of the other animals posted, too) that are sure to occur this week. Since all post will be marked as "baby human" (with a possible variation of how many a's are in baby), they should be easy to skip. We haven't had any major problems with this yet, but I just wanted to reinforce the rules.

You are, of course, still entitled to your opinion, and I am sincerely glad that everyone in this community has decided to join it.

I also want to encourage everyone to continue to post pictures of non-human babies, too! That is, after all, the primary reason for this community.

It's always okay to do that, actually. From the rules:

Posting pictures of baaaaaby animals wearing human clothing... well that's just wrong (but not explicitly banned).

It was an attempt at humor. :)

I was just wondering why exactly you decided that children dressed as animals go in this community (not trying to argue, just interested).... surely there's another community for things like that?

ah well. skip them I will. I dont mind children... i just dont look at Baaaby Animals to SEE children....

It's just a silly thing to do for Halloween rather than some Great Br**d*r Conspiracy.

Lots of people do silly things for Halloween.

Some boards and communities turn everything orange, the Simpsons give spooky nicknames to everyone listed in the credits, and [info]baaaaabyanimals posts pictures of baaaaaaaaby humans dressed up as animals.

It's really easy to skip them. I skip most pictures of baaaaaaaaaby puppies because I'm not into dogs.

Yup, fortunately posts are labelled and put behind a cut, so you can skip past anything. I pick and choose, doesn't bother me

Anyway, I agree with the poster on this one. There must be thousands of baby-picture communities out there that would better suited to those who want to pimp out pictures of their kids.
