panda fever!
I don't know if this was posted on here or not... but a friend of mine sent me these pictures a long long time ago and i was rediscovering it in my hard drive.

a puppy breeded dressed to look like a panda :3

I don't think he was bred that way, though, I think they dyed his fur.

Yes, he had dyed fur. It was on the news a while back, because the family would walk him through the town and kept getting calls from the local police because people would report an illegal baby panda. They thought it was very funny! (They live in China.)

I've read a lot of reputable sources that suggest it's a dyed chow puppy, rather than bred that way. (It wouldn't be impossible to be bred, as chows come in black, but they're rarely pied like that, they're one color or the other.)

But it's still cute.

chows come in other colors as well, I used to have a chow in the same color as garfield (can't remember the english word for that color)

I wasn't really sure if that was the color, orange doesn't really have the same ring to me as that color, but ok...

btw, if you do a google image search on chows you'll find they come in white as well...

I guess it depends on which version of english you speak ... in my part of the world (Australia) Garfield is a 'ginger' cat :)

Here, Garfield is definately Orange.

I SO want one. And I know a beautiful, mellow chow that would look adorable as a panda, but I doubt her owner would let my dye her.

Your kitty and mine have very similar facial markings. Silver tabbies are the prettiest, no?
