B-Line Notice
Well. Lightning just struck one of the wires over the B-Line tracks between Harvard Ave. and Packard's Corner, and so far it has disabled an inbound trolley between the two stops. Fire trucks and MBTA officials are on the scene, and they've let out passengers to run around on Comm. Ave., but I don't know if it will similarly affect the outbound route.

(Looking outside, officials are walking on both tracks, so I'm assuming they've temporarily suspended the outbound trolley as well.)

I hear the crack, and I saw the sparks when I looked out my window, but I wasn't sure what had gotten hit.

Hi, do you live across the street from me?! :D

Lol, probably. I just turn into a kid when it comes to thunder- and lightning storms. There were the sparks caused by the initial strike, and then a couple of minutes later you could see/hear the wire sections around it cackle, get smokey, and die.

à la Bully: "Good show!"

Shit. Good thing I didn't end up going home after I went to the aquarium today -- that's about the time I would've headed home, too.
