R.I.P Deli Haus
This totally sucks - here's a letter from my friend Geeta regarding Deli Haus:

Yo,

I don't know if you all know this already, or if you even care, but it appears that our beloved Boston eating establishment,
Deli Haus, has changed. I walked over there yesterday to
survey the damage after the renovation, and to talk to the people who work there.

It's not as terrible as some of the rumors that had been spreading around Senior Haus had implied, but it's still pretty bad.

Key points here:

-There are no longer any booths at Deli Haus. They were all thrown out last week.

-Deli Haus no longer serves breakfast food at night--it is now primarily a bar.

-The menus are different now--they have been cut drastically to only include sandwiches and beer.

-Some prices appear to have increased.

-The glass display case in the entryway has been trashed and replaced with a new stainless steel counter.

-The interior has been repainted and all of the furniture
has been replaced.

-Deli Haus will now close at 2:30 am instead of 3, but again, you won't be able to get food late at night there, only alcohol.

-Most of the waitresses are staying, saying that they like the changes-- the tips are better, the people who go there now are nicer to them, and the place isn't as full.

But you can smoke at Deli Haus again, since it is now a bar under Boston regulations. Their selection of beers on tap has improved, but that is to be expected, since their focus is no longer on selling late night food to a loyal following of punkass
kids, but on increasing their profit margin by serving overpriced beer.

In summary, the place now sucks. I don't think I'm going back there anytime soon. Me, I'm making some french vanilla toast---after all, Deli Haus doesn't make it anymore. Then, I'll start my own goddamn diner. In Towers.
