I'll be going to California as a graduation gift ^^ well sorta of a gift but my interests include Korean pop/rock, Japanese rock/pop music and I wanted to know where I should go to find those things. For example, I hear there is a little tokyo..or something but where exactly is that? Also I hear there is a K-town [little korea?] and I would like to know where that is too ^^

Anywhere where I could buy some Japanese/Korean music would be fantastic. ^^

Anime / Manga Lesson for the day

Another resounding reminder that funky anime / manga style hair doesn't really translate well on real people.

The guys above are Mike He playing Jiang Meng on the Taiwanese drama Devil Beside You, and Edogawa Takeru from Takanashi Mitsuba's manga, Akuma de Sourou (released in the US as CMX's The Devil does Exist). They're supposed to be the same guy, and the drama designers did try to be faithful to the manga, down to Takeru's hairpins (Yes, he wears those thin, black, bobby pins in his hair). I'm not quite sure I like how it turned out though. *rofl*

Moral of the story:
Stick to anime / manga. The bishounen there never break your heart, and they're always hawt.

Hello. I saw an invite on one of my asian drama posts, so I figured, what the hell, then promptly signed up. I’m 100% Filipino, living in Manila. Addicted to Japanese anime, Korean drama, and Chinese dimsum among others. Last wedding I went to, I wore a Vietnamese ao dai. Last thing I purchased on Amazon was Japanese manga. Last thing I downloaded was a Taiwanese drama. I cook a mean Korean Beef Stew. I adore Thai advertising. I speak Filipino as my first language. All in, I’d say I’m as asian as the next asian on this community.
