Welcome to avrillims! This is the one and only last icon maker standing contest for the beautiful and talented musician Avril Lavigne! :D

RULES
01. To participate you must join and then sign up (include the words 'wow fruitcake' somewhere in your comment). If you're only here for voting/watching/etc you do not have to sign up.
02. Every week I'll give you a challenge (pictures or a theme). With this information you must create an icon (original, never shown, made or used before), size 100x100 and less than 40kb. You can use brushes, textures, stock images (no people) and text but you're not allowed to use other pictures or animation. Your icon must be kept anonymous until the results are posted for the challenge. If you use/display your icon you will be disqualified.
03. For entering your icon every week you'll be given a deadline, if you haven't posted (as a comment) your icon before the given date, I'll have to use one of your skips (every participant has one skip from the start. One can use their skip(s) in every challenge but the first one and in the last three ones when we're only down to five participants. You can earn a skip by promoting the community in a public entry. No matter how many times you promote though, no more than 1 skip will be given to you.) or if you've run out of skips you'll be disqualified.
04. When voting you'll have to use the form shown in the entry. When voting you're obligated to state the reason for your least quality and best quality. Participants have to vote in each challenge unless stated in the post that they should not. If they fail to do so they'll be disqualified or I'll use their voting skip (which you automatically get when signing up), if they don't have their voting skip left a challenge skip will be used as a voting skip. At the end of the voting two participants (until we're down to 10 participants, then one participant will be eliminated each challenge) - the one with the icon which got most negative votes will be eliminated and cannot participate in the round anymore. The icon with the most positive votes will be awarded People's Choice. Negative votes cancel out positive votes and vice versa.
05. In the middle of every round a comeback challenge will be posted. In this challenge all participants who got eliminated (not disqualified) in the past challenges of that round can compete to come back into the round. Depending on how many participants there are cmpeting, the two or one who get most positive votes will be invited to join the rest of the round..

TIMETABLE
Sunday night; A new challenge is posted.
Tuesday morning; First reminder (of two/three) for participants.
Thurday morning; Second reminder for participants.
Friday morning; Third reminder for participants who haven't entered their icon or decleared using a skip, in their personal jounals.
Friday evening; Deadline for challenge.
Friday night; Voting time.
Sunday evening; Results are posted.
