Also.... we would like to say a HUGE congratulations to Paul & Nikki who got engaged at our event last night!! CONGRATS to you both!!
This event has had to be cancelled last minute as there has been a double booking. Unfortunatly we were not made aware of this until last night by Staff at Mambo's. We have tried in vain to source an alternative venue for this event but as it is still close to Xmas this has been impossible. We can only appologise for the inconvenience this may have caused.
Please keep checking either at our website (www.agw.techmad.co.uk) or here for details of future events...
Again appologies...
I have a pass for the local spa and in the evening will have a few drinks in the bar getting to know the uber cool Polish people (they're all really friendly here in Aviemore).
Mmmmm Polish vodka is goood :) All aboard the carpet ship.

First of all, sorry not to be at the terror ceilidh this evening, my health hasn't been too great for a while and I ended up having to head back to Aberdeen rather too early (despite having bought a ticket for the ceilidh that day).
I really enjoyed meeting you all and hope to keep in touch. I wonder if I might still be able to grab an AGW t-shirt though? In the meantime, I made myself useful and uploaded the video I shot today from the steam train trip. I have a (much) better full-quality video of it which is much much clearer. If anyone want a copy of it I'm sure I could arrange it. In the meantime, here it is:
Just been doing all the checking of stuff.
Outfits - decided!
Transport - washed, polished and full of fuel!
B&B - still expecting us!
2 more days of work and off we go.
CU all there :-)

excited
I've just joined as I've just managed to talk
I've found train tickets for £40 or we could do the bus journey for a little over £30 so thats sorted but I've been finding it difficult getting reasonably priced accomodation. If people know of anywhere that is available sat-sun (working fri as didnt decide till now to go- damn!! Not working mon but if accomodation is too expensive then can only do one night) that'd be very appreciated. Looking for somewhere which is up to £60-£65/ room.
I have tried to find things- Im not here wanting others to do my dirty work honest! Ive emailed places and used different websites (4hotels; scottishaccomodationindex; visitscotland) but seems places are booked etc.
Anyone know anywhere still free??
Hope we can go- getting a bit excited :)
- Mood:
hopeful

OMG!!!!!!!! Really hadn't been expecting this full page article!!! Anyone else want tome come along for the weekend - there is plenty of cheap accomodation avaliable in Aviemore for the weekend, contact the Aviemore Tourist Information Office for details.
Ace Adventures indeed! :) Spoke to the chap at Ace Adventures and if we want to use our buy one get one free tickets, he would prefer if there were a minimum of 4 of us. So who else is up for it? If there are 4 of us it will work out to be £22 each.
The sight of me in a wetsuit is free *lol* :p

amused
