The well known community _xangel is under new mods and they asked to affliate with us.

It's a wonderful community for lovers of Angel/us/Xander that I found a while back when I wrote this pairing. If you have any interest in reading this pairing, be sure to look them up.

Thanks to jans_intentions for letting me pimp angelovesdawn’s ficathon / art challenge here at autumn_of_angel. because we should celebrate Angel all year round, not just in August! :)

From now until Sunday, April 22nd, angelovesdawn will be accepting one-shot fic and fanart that fits the prompt “first time.”

angelovesdawn is a community for rare Angel het pairings, including but not limited to Angel/Dawn, Angel/Tara, Angel/Willow, Angel/Faith…whatever your little heart desires, really, although we do not consider Angel/Buffy to be a rare pairing (sorry!). Please avoid rapefic themes, as these are against general community rules, but angst is welcome!

angelspike69 and I have launched a new community for Angel lovers.

mmmmm_angel is a community set up to take all Angel works, fiction and art. We welcome gen, het, slash fiction and art of all Angel ships, as well as AU and canon-based works and darker or lighter fiction. In short, we want to make it as easy as possible for members to find wonderful works featuring Angel/us/Liam.

angelspike69 did an amazing job, fueled by her passion for Angel, to create this community with me in the hopes that it would be a useful traffic hub for all things Angel.

We also hope to perhaps hold art challenges to promote and encourage more Angel works and possibly ficathons.

We hope you like this community and find it a useful resource.

So today sparks off posting over at winter_of_angel. I've signed up for a day there and any Angel lovers out there who don't want to miss out should drop by.

I wanted to ask people what they thought of us doing another go round here at AOA next August? I've done a lot of communities, but this one stands out for me as a really wonderful experience and I'd like to do it again, but will you guys want to do something in 6 months or so? I also talked to athenewolfe, who runs Fang Fetish Awards. She's done a tie in with our noel_of_spike and expressed an interest in doing another tie in with Autumn if we run it again.

So, is Angel still someone you are interested in reading and seeing art for?

We have affliated with winter_of_angel which runs from December 21st through to March 20th. Sign up days are here for fiction, icons, art, ect that are Angel/Angelus/Liam related.
