madelyn@gothics.org AboutThere is one season of four that whips up the most amazing, fond feelings in me. All year long, I crave it. The smell of burning leaf piles and apples in the air. A crisp, inviting breeze weaving aiding in a wild dance of falling leaves. Children laughing and playing in a distance, their backpacks thrown about the sidewalks and porches in happy afterschool hurries of play. Friends talking late into the evening on their porches, illuminated by a warm orange glow from paper lanterns. Hay rides and corn on the cob and jack o' lanterns and yellowed grass that crunches under your feet. Leaf piles.
Man... autumn has got to be the most amazing creation EVER! Seriously.
