authentictwigs is a community solely dedicated to pictures of thin people in every day life. Some of the pictures in this community may be triggering to those recovering or suffering from an eating disorder, so proceed at your own risk. Please do take note that while some of our members might struggle with eating disordered behaviors, not all of our members do. Please be sensitive to those around you, don't be a douche, be respectful, and have fun. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask one of your friendly mods;

Membership is NOW MODERATED. In livejournal for dummies terms, this means when you click join, instead of being able to automatically become a member, an email will be sent to all of the mods notifying us of your desire to participate. In order to be accepted, you must have an established journal. This means you either have a few people friended (and they have friended you back), you're an active member of other communities and YOU DO NOT HAVE ANA OR MIA LISTED AS AN INTEREST. Take that shit elsewhere, the mods have zero bullshit tolerance. Addtionally, trolls will not be accepted, so don't waste our time or yours.

EVERY post MUST have a picture. Text only posts will be deleted unless given permission by the mods to be posted, no questions asked.

This community is NOT for models, celebrities, so on and so forth. It's for real people. Should you want to post/view pictures of that nature,

_thinspire is a great community to check out. All posts containing said celebrities will be promptly deleted.

All posts must be lj-cut. In addition, any underwear, possible self injury and provocative photos must come with a warning in either the post itself, the cut, or the subject title.

ALL posts must be locked. If you forget, a mod will comment on said post and you will be given a 24 hours period to lock it up. If it stays unlocked, your entry will be deleted.

The terms "ana" and "mia" along with other ridiculous speak, tips or questions will not be tolerated. There are plenty of communities and forums out there for things of that nature. Feel free to speak your mind but think before you do so, the goal of this community is maturity.

Continuous breaking of rules and/or disrespect to community members will result in immediate banning.
