Anyone here ever had any experience taking a GRE prep course somewhere in Austin?
I ask because I've had many people tell me that paying the close to $1000 for Kaplan and the other big companies isn't worth it, so I'm looking elsewhere. I know it tends to be expensive no matter what, but I'm hoping that someone had an awesome experience that really helped them with their score so that I don't shell out the big bucks and end up with nothing to show for it but expensive test prep books.
I know UT has GRE classes periodically, but I can't seem to find anything for the summer and this is when I really want/need to take the classes (taking the actual test in the fall). If you know of something through UT, that'd be great, but any advice would be great.
Thanks!
