but yeah... now.
I'd like to see what it looks like back then, that period of large cultural change and able to see bands from that time period. True, there are great bands today and society is always changing but that seems like an interesting time to me.
I actually thought it'd be cool to see UT and surrounding areas from the 20's to now. How things have changed in every decade.
in the 50s i would be the first to burn my bra and not live the house wife standard and become a beatnik
in the 60s i would be a hippie.
You could still send away for great books by authors like Dickens and Twain. Maybe even get the occasional newspaper clipping from H.L.Mencken.
But you wouldn't have to deal with such modern annoyances as computers, office work, television, phones, cars, and pagers.
You'd have some clean air, not too many neighbors and almost no law around to give you a hard time. Do an honest days work for sustenance instead of pay.
But if I can't have my own farm, I want to live now.
