Hammocks, anyone?

  • Apr. 11th, 2008 at 7:20 PM
I love the change of weather, and want to enjoy it before it gets really nasty. What I'd really love is to find a place that sells cheap hammocks.

Any suggestions?

Will you please allow me to make this joke?
"There's four places. There's the Hammock Hut, that's on third. There's Hammocks-R-Us, that's on third too. You got Put-Your-Butt-There? That's on third. Swing Low, Sweet Chariot... Matter of fact, they're all in the same complex; it's the hammock complex on third. The hammock district."

Sorry, I don't have any useful info, but that's probably my favorite Simpsons line.

Army surplus stores usually have some cheap ones that actually hold up pretty well.

I was just at Academy tonight, and they had three different options; a rope one, a woven fabric one, and a nylon-parachute-fabric one. The robe & nylon ones were $20; the woven one was $35, I believe.
