Looking for organic lamb

  • Feb. 22nd, 2008 at 2:59 AM
I'd really like to buy some organic lamb today (Friday 22nd) for a dinner I'm serving later. Where in Austin can I do this? I've heard the farmer's market, but that's too late.

Closer to the NE end of town (eg, Braker and I-35) is better, but anywhere around would be good.

Thanks!

Check the Kosher HEB Deli at Far West - they have a lot of Glatt Kosher Lamb, some of which I believe is also organic.

Seconded, thirded, whatevered. I am a devotee of Loncito's tasty lamb bits. His stuff is consistently tasty and tender and full of lamby goodness.

Mmmmlamb...Hey! Tomorrow is Market Day! Hooray!
