So, it turns out I will be unable to keep Cooper. Trust me, I am very saddened by this and yes, I did adopt him on a whim but I didn't want him to go to the animal shelter so soon. They'll stick him in the back in a little ole cage and "test" him in three weeks when he's of adoptable age [8weeks] and see if he's... well, "adoptable," which transpires into non aggressive and healthy.
Chances are he won't be happy or too healthy cooped up in a little cage at the shelter with little to no attention or love... I don't trust pounds and shelters. I just don't. Esp when the lady on the phone was telling me he may be "put to sleep."
So, I emailed a lot of my friends and all my list serves and maybe someone will fall in love with him and have a better home for him than I. I figure I would try here bc y'all gave me so much advice already. Thanks in advance and if you need to contact me, leave a comment with your number and I will call you, or your email and I will email you...

The SPCA in Leander is a no-kill shelter. They may have a waiting list, but should be able to at least put you in touch with an organization that will find him a foster home until there's room for him at the shelter.
I volunteer there in my spare time and I can assure that the staff is fabulous and while the fascilities are not top-notch the animals are definitely well cared for and very loves. They have volunteers like me who come in specifically to play with the animals and give them the attention and love they need :)
I wished I could take him, and I certainly hope you're lucky in finding him a home.
He is just precious!
They're a no-kill shelter, and even if they're full they may have advice for you. Since he's so young, I dont' know if you'd want to send him to any other shelter.
whats his expected adult size?
I suggest getting a kennel, paying attention to him when you're home, and TRYING to keep him, regardless of allergies. If you get rid of him w.o tyring, it's going to make you feel more and more like shit.
Some mornings I wanted to get rid of my pup, but give it time. Like a few months instead of days. You won't sleep, and will cater to this little pup, but it's worth it in the end.
