Anyone else in Austin use GameFly? Is it supposed to take a week and a half between when I mail a game out and when I receive the next one?

I need to move my million dollar bad ass washing machine to the garage because it is tearing up my house....literally.  Unbeknownst to me, the LG Steamwashers are not recommended to be on the second story of a home.  :(

So I need to get an electrician and a plumber in to make my garage laundry friendly.

Anyone know a company that does both....and does it timely and well?

If you don't get your fill of the moon during the eclipse this evening (9-11ish), you should hop on your bike and cruise on down to the Lamar Pedestrian Bridge around midnight and go on the monthly Full Moon Cruise. They've been back to the monthly ride schedule for over a year now and the turnout has been great! If you're coming make sure to bring your bike, blinky lights, some water (or beverage of choice), and hopefully a friend or three. The rides usually go for about 10-15 miles and make a few stops along the way, the last of which is usually at a bar for last call. Good times will be had by all.

It used to be that you could rent video game consoles from Blockbuster and the like.  Is there any place that still does this?  I'm looking for guitar hero for a party.  Thanks.

I'm writing with an odd request from a couple Fine Arts students at UT:

We are looking for people (either students or professionals) with expertise in the following areas to assist with a creative project:

- Medicine
- Religion (specifically, Muslim)
- Politics/Government or History (expertise in Guantanamo)
- Psychology (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder)

It's a minimal commitment--we just need some insight and fact-checkers for the creative project. Perfect for a expert who has interest in the arts (and gets irritated when those wacky writers/artists/filmmakers just don't get the facts right!)
