Recommendations for optometrists in north Austin?

I always see this ad on austinchronicle.com for an art company called Lonestar Design and was wondering if it's legitimate.  And if it is and you happen to work there, what's it like and what do you do?  Thank you.

Does anyone know if it's possible to buy a small quantity of red latex (maximum: one yard) in Austin?  I need it pretty soon, and I'd prefer to get it locally if possible.

I know I can get the molded candles at Hobby Lobby and Bedbathandbeyond, and stinky ones at Yankee Candle Co. and the like, but I'm hoping to find hand-dipped taper candles in a variety of colors. I've been getting them at the Candle Factory up in Georgetown for years, but they appear to be going paws-up so I'm hoping there's someplace nearby that has them. I usually buy a few dozen at a time, if that matters.

The government is trying to kill me this year. I need some help figuring out how to work on my assets and fill out my income tax. Is there anyone local you would recommend to help maximize my potential refund? When I go online and do this myself I want to choke someone; that's illegal, so I'd prefer help instead. Thanks!

My friend left her husband in TN about 2 years ago. They never legally seperated or filed for divorce. They have been amicably sharing custody of their daughter since. However since December it has become increasingly harder for my friend to get her husband to answer his phone or return her calls, and she has only been allowed to talk to her daughter a handful of times since December. Now it appears her husband has moved (the xmas presents returned in the mail) and he has switched jobs, all without notifying my friend. Her mother in law is also refusing to give any information.
I've read in this forum before about there being free legal advise/couseling through UT and was wondering if anybody could direct me there, or if anyone has come across this type of situation before, or knows a good referral in town that could help.
Also does anybody know how much an out of state divorce should cost, because my friend has been getting $5-6000 quotes and this seems slightly ridiculous.

I'm coming from Baton Rouge to Austin in March for a Gogol Bordello show at Stubb's BBQ. I've been to Austin a few times but never to Stubb's. The website says the show is Outdoors. Just wondering what I should expect? Is the outdoor area completely open-air or is it shielded from wind? Is there a lot of room for dancing/moshing? The pics on Google Images are pretty dark. Also, is parking a hassle in the area or do they have their own parking lot?

Does anyone have experience with a free or sliding health clinic in Central, West, or South Austin?

My SO has been quite ill for some time and has no insurance, he's not a student and he makes below poverty level.

The Texas primary is probably going to matter, so make sure you're registered to vote!
