I have a friend.. a single mom of darlign twin 10 month old daughters  who has been trying to get on the various forms of state assistance (medicaid, WIC , and probably food stamps) for a few months now and the glitches that keep happening at the other end boggle the mind ...

I bought this bed from Ikea less than a year ago and its in a super great condition. It has slats and obviously, drawers. I moved and I no longer have a need for a twin bed. So if there are any takers, I'm selling it for 100.

I have a box of kid's books. Mostly board books we've outgrown, and some preschool books I'm sick of reading aloud. Half Price Books used to have a donation box for Goodnight Illiteracy, but I didn't see one at the Lamar location. Any idea who could use these?
