Arctic Silver Ceramique?

  • Jan. 20th, 2006 at 8:34 AM
Anyone know where in town I can get some? Need to replace a CPU today and I am all out. (I do NOT want the generic brands)

Some AS 5 would do if I can't find ceramique

Digital phone

  • Jan. 20th, 2006 at 9:51 AM
Time Warner is offering me some big mac daddy package for cable, Roadrunner, and digital phone for $124 per month for the next year. I've never used anything but the conventional phone service, so I don't know the pros and cons of it.

Has anyone here switched to digital phone through Time Warner? What are your experiences? Is it worth it?

Thanks in advance...

Ok.

I need to find a typewriter. Does anyone know where there is a typewriter available for public use? Libraries/Kinko's/anywhere?

Thanks.

Hey all, I looked, but I didn't see a listing of any places that are motorcycle-friendly here in the central Texas area.

Suggestions?

parallelogramophonograph

  • Jan. 20th, 2006 at 3:33 PM

Howdy. My improv troupe, Parallelogramophonograph, is performing at the Hideout tonight at 8pm as part of the Improv Threefer.  Our format for the the night is a series of loosely connected scenes based off an audience suggestion. It goes without saying, but everything you see will be unscripted and made up on the spot. Our website is new, but there are a few videos up here: http://pgraph.com/video.php

Tonight we're performing with The Coldtowne Heroes and The Polite Society Presents... Coldtowne is a troupe out of New Orleans, now living in Austin, and Polite Society is an Austin troupe that focuses on experimental/playful formats.

The Hideout is located at 617 Congress Ave, at the corner of Congress and 7th.

Help me eat dinner

  • Jan. 20th, 2006 at 4:33 PM
It's been MONTHS since I have taken my GF out to a really nice dinner and I would like to do so tomarrow. So all you hopeless romantics out there your advice is needed. I want to take her to a place that I have never been aswell. I don't have a preference in food. I do have a preference in price. 10-20 dollar plates but not an AL A CART place like Sullivans downtown. I don't want to eat at places like Olive Garden or OutBack, Don't give me the name of a famous chain that's not romantic. I'd prefer some place in North Austin I live in the 620 Parmer area but Downtown works for me too.

I appreciate all your great choices please tell me the type of food when you name the place. :)

moving help!

  • Jan. 20th, 2006 at 7:37 PM
I'm going to be moving across town at the end of next month, I was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a good/honest/dependable/cheap/local moving company as I've managed to collect more things than I can carry myself and not enough friends to help me put it all in a U Haul. Thanks.
