Does anyone happen to know when Girl with a Pearl Earring is going to be playing in Austin? I have looked everywhere for this info. I have called theaters, searched the web....I read that it was going to be at the Dobie and Arbor Hills this weekend, but upon checking the listings, found the opposite. The official website says "opens everywhere in January 2004". No date. It's showing in Dallas and Houston..what gives? I need a good costume drama here people. Anyone work at Alamo/Dobie etc. and know a date offhand? Its like a state secret.

Is there a small projects contractor that someone can recommend? I need to enlarge a hole in the wall to install a new dog door, but it's a brick outer wall and such and I neither have the tools nor experience to do it myself with confidence.
