hi i am just wondering if anybody has a bike that they don't want/need... i am in desperate need of one i have been having to walk to work and it's very tiring and having a bike would be a little bit easier. i actually live in georgetown but if i would need to come into austin to pick it up my mom said she would take me. i don't have any spare money i would do anything possible to repay the favor that i can.
any shape/model/color/condition is fine as long as it works

This was an interesting article in Saturday's Austin-American Statesman about changing the current existing 183 freeway and the new extension into a toll way. Apparently a new law was passed last year that allows the Texas Transportation Commission to change existing roads into tollways. That totally blows. The extension won't open up as a tollway, but it could change in the near future. Apparently there are also changes planned for the Ben White corridor from Oak Hill to HWY71.

I can do both, simultaneously if necessary, quite well and would rather work as a musician than find work as a cashier or something like that.
