I'm trying to track down an ad. Google and Youtube have failed me.
It was for Eye toy. I'm not sure if it was promoting a particular game or just the eyetoy concept or even Playstation.
Basically I remember there being a ton of randoms doing weird ass movements in their own homes. You couldn't see the TV or anything so they just looked like idiots (as you do when you play eyetoy). At the end of the ad an eyetoy logo comes up explaining that they weren't just being idiots and actually playing eyetoy.
I'm not sure if I made this up or if it's a real ad. I'm beginning to think I made it up. I can't find anyone that knows what I'm talking bout.
Even if you don't know where I find it I hope someone can at least tell me I didn't make it up.
BTW. I recommend EYE TOY. HILARIOUS FUN! |

What's that song on the commercial for Unwired Broadbrand? [the one where that guy moves into a flat and everything from the one box he has goes into it's places ie the books in the bookshelf] the only lyrics i remember from it are 'on my own two feet is where i stand' something like that.... |

Can't remember if I've ever posted this, sorry if so.
Does anyone else think the Nutri Grain ads/current ad are really sexist against women?
How the mother can't open the jar so she gives it to her son who easily pops it open, then she can't reach up high but lo and behold, her son can.
The whole ad just annoys me. Makes out women are damsels in distress and need a big strong man to come and rescue them. |

Can someone please explain to me this libra ad thats on at the moment? I don't know if I'm missing a really simple joke or something, but I just don't get it.
A girl gets out a packet of tampons to find the packet is empty. She rings her boyfriend who is at the supermarket to get some more for her. He is standing in the aisle and picks up a pack of 'mini' tampons, and then a packet of 'super' tampons. He takes the super tampons, and upon purchase asks if theres a bigger size. He gets home and the girlfriend rolls her eyes and thats the end of the ad.
I'm so clueless about it :( |

Do you remember a few months ago I mentioned the banning of the Hyundai advert where the kid was driving? The reason the ad got banned was that it supposedly encouraged kids to drive.
Well the advert is back. This time it doesn't show the kid driving. Rather it shows the kid surfing! Because yes, kids are much more likely to drive alone than go near water alone, especially with summer approaching. |

There's an ad for a phone company, where there's a bunch of monks and they're under a vow of silence, and say goodbye to one of them, who goes to the city and then sees an ad for the phone company that allows him to talk all the time.
What was that for? And is it on youtube anywhere do you know? |

to beg for help. We know that in Melbourne, there are ads for Metlink, with Frank Woodley in it. We're DESPERATE to have them on youtube or something! We're total fans of Frank, and most of us aren't in Melbourne, or would like a recording of it.

The new 'Pepsi Max' ads really urk me! I don't like them at all!
First of all, the two guys who hitch a ride in a girl's car. The car breaks down and the girl says to them, "Oooo looks like we're staying the night!" and so the Pepsi Max 'cool' meter goes up high. What do those guys think'll happen? That they'll get to kiss and make love with the girl just cause they're stuck alone in the car with her at night?
Secondly, the other ad where it makes out that blowing all your money in Vegas is a really good idea... what's with that?!
It's bad enough with the new Pepsi Max Livejournal mood icons where it switches to the Pepsi symbol after keeping the actual face on for like two seconds. They'd be really cool icons if that stupid ad didn't have to come on all the time... |

Do any of you remember that advert for a bank where the shop keeper gets annoyed that his competitor can afford to pay for a guy to dress in a rabbit costume, so he knocks the guy in the suit off his feet with a broom?
Apparently that ad received 1 complaint, but was banned on account of that 1 complaint.
The reason for the complaint?
The ad apparently promoted cruelty to animals.
Thoughts?
