Tonight's tv. Tonight on SBS, 7:40 Stockinger. If you remember Stocki from the earliest "Inspector Rex" episodes, Moser's first sidekick, this is his spinoff after he went to Salzburg. I think it started either last week or the week before but I missed it.
I also noticed, on Ten HD, for those who can get digital, the pilot of Eureka, 10:30 tonight. | | Thursday, February 21st, 2008 | 5:56 pm [onlymefeelinsad]

A Long Time Ago Veronica Mars is on tonight on Ten HD. It appears to be the next episode in line since Ten stopped showing it a few episodes into Season 3. I am so excited I wasn't sure which journal to post this in first. I won't believe it's real until the closing credits roll tonight but E Broadcast has my hopes up. | | Sunday, December 9th, 2007 | 3:12 pm [meteordust]

Moonlight Another new pilot from the US fall lineup: MoonlightWednesday 12 December 9:30 PM Channel 9 TV guide summary: "A private detective with special connections and a secret identity investigates a string of murders in Los Angeles." Yeah, it's that new vampire detective show. Yeah, the one that got almost universally panned. Still, I plan to check it out, for the curiosity factor - I mean, how bad can it possibly be? (I realise I may regret saying this.) Current Mood: awake | | Sunday, December 2nd, 2007 | 2:49 pm [meteordust]

Dirty Sexy Money Anyone checked out Dirty Sexy Money yet?
it has some amazing people in it Billy Baldwin, Donald Sutherland and most importantly Peter Krause (Nate from Six Feet Under). brilliant story and just a joy to watch. most shockingly it's made by ABC and not HBO or Showtime! | | Wednesday, October 10th, 2007 | 10:31 pm [jay_summers]

Supernatural: Season 3 Channel Ten is advertising for a "direct stream" from the US of Supernatural. While "direct" is a bit of a stretch, it's somewhat recent so we'll give them some points.
Season 3 starts on 15th October, Channel Ten. Presumably 20:30. | | Wednesday, August 29th, 2007 | 10:40 pm [zenni]

House Season 3 finale: anticlimatic. Y/N? Please discuss. The DVD is coming out on the 19th next month, and season 4 is airing on October 3rd. ( Spoilers for the finale. )Gripes aside, I am liking this trend of direct streaming from the US. Means that I don't have to... watch other channels, ahem, for shows I like. | | Sunday, August 19th, 2007 | 3:27 pm [jay_summers]

Torchwood is on Wednesday morning Since the notice that it was taken off air was posted here, I felt it prudent to include a note in our community that Torchwood is on at 12am (00:00) on Wednesday 22nd August. That is "Tuesday night" / Wednesday morning, just to clarify. It's still on Ten. source: http://www.yourtv.com.au | | Sunday, August 5th, 2007 | 6:53 pm [danamaree]

sea patrol Did anyone watch Sea Patrol, I felt a bit obligated to watch it as it was an Australian drama. But as we all know, Australian dramas tend to suck and fall into a soap opera thinly disguised as a drama aka All Saints and Mcleod's Daughters. Nothing wrong with soaps, I do watch Neighbours now and again, but I'd like to see a good drama for a change.
I felt the show wasn't bad, it had a few cliche moments, and because of the subject matter it could deal with very political issues badly. But I'll go by the six episode rule, especially now that Heroes isn't competing for the same timeslot. | | Friday, June 29th, 2007 | 11:41 am [kitzen_kat]

Torchwood and Dr Who What do you think of Torchwood? (For those who have waited to see this on tv and don't have access to the internet truck. *bg*) I have to admit to loving the the set design and lighting and the camera work. It's not just the characters, it's the attention given to details. Dr Who for grown ups is how one person put it. The Dr Who Christmas special was on last night. I loved Catherine Tate in it as Donna (YMMV). I can't wait until Saturday for the series to start. Current Mood: cheerful | | Monday, June 18th, 2007 | 6:54 pm [jenskijen]
