Just because I'm a glutton for punishment ...
'This is the OFFICIAL 'call-out' to all Australian Christian Comic creators to get involved in the,
'PULP CRUCIFICTION #3' anthology!
Like the previous two issues this is an opportunity to get our work (and faith in Christ) out there to the unsuspecting public.
So this is what we need from you - Your comic stories about; God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the gospel message, love and justice, bible stories and stories that relate to the Christian life. The publication will go out to Christians and Non-Christians alike so please keep the church jargon to a minimum.
It will probably be printed once again through a 'print on demand' service like Comixpress - http://www.comixpress.com/ ('Cause I don't have any money for large print runs).
All contributors will get a copy (then have the option of ordering as many as you like). Copies will be either sold at the Supanova convention in Melbourne (early next year) or Sydney (a bit later in the year) - http://www.supanova.com.au/
Contribution details -
Page Count : 1 - 5 pages (You can maybe do more but please check with me first)
What : Strip, single panel cartoons and pin-ups are all great but sequentials are best (Also,
the story needs to be a stand alone story, easily understood).
Format : Black/White or Grayscale (PSDs, TIFFs, PDFs or some other file that I can open on my
Mac)
DPI : 300 to 600 dpi (If you're not sure about this just ask me)
Page Size : Standard PC comic size (same dimensions as A4-A5). Page trim - 16.83 cm x 23.11
cm and if you're doing any kind of bleed it should be - 17.47 cm x 23.74 cm.
Bio : I'll also need a one paragraph contributor bio and contact details.
DEADLINE : 31ST OCTOBER 2008

As Editor I have the final say about what will be accepted into the anthology. It'd be cool if you can shoot me through an e-mail and let me know if you're planning on contributing.
