A couple of things though:

1. Please note that if you only added this community to your flist and did not join it, you can't see locked music-sharing posts since access to them is for members only.

2. By 'no album downloads' I meant that you can't upload an entire album for downloading/sharing :) Sorry! Have edited the userinfo. If you've got any questions about rules & so on, please comment.

... At last. This community was supposed to have gone live more than a year ago and was originally named awit. However, by the time I decided to get the comm up and running, it seems to either have contracted a bug of sorts or LJ spat it out of its system because of disuse (for one, I couldn't update from my personal account, and any attempt to fix the layout backfired badly). Hence, auit ^^; The rules are in the userinfo but I'm reposting them here for posterity:

Welcome to auit, a Filipino music-sharing community. :) The comm is open to everyone interested in sharing/downloading/listening to Filipino music. Before joining, however, please take a look at our guidelines:

Sharing music:

1. Please label all posts sharing music with [sharing].

2. Only Filipino music (that is, music by Filipinos or in which Filipino artists collaborate) must be posted.

3. Files must be in mp3 format.

4. No more than 10 files can be shared in a single post.

5. Album downloads are not allowed.

6. Music sharing posts must be locked.

7. Please try to tag your entries with the full names/aliases of the featured artists.

Downloading music:

1. Please do not direct-link music files outside the community. To share files with people who are not members of the community, please download the files and then share them using your own server.

2. To download mp3 files: right-click and then click "Save As."

3. Please try to leave a comment whenever you download from a post. This is not obligatory, however.

4. If you would like to request lyrics or translations of lyrics to certain songs, please leave a comment to the post containing those songs. Do not post a separate entry.

Requesting music:

The admin will post a request thread every two weeks. Please post your requests as comments to this thread. Once again, do not make separate request posts.
