well, this is just too cool not to share:

Back in 1969 Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan got together and performed a dozen or so tunes together. The occasion was never officially released but was nonetheless preserved for posterity. Enjoy.

Greetings from Asbury Park! (where I don't actually live, but- I DID spend some time in South Jersey...)

Besides, anyone that listens to A Love Supreme once a week deserves this.
(I mean that in the absolute highest regard for John Coltrane...and yes, I'll be listening to that album this week as well.)

Do you have the deluxe edition witht helive performance and alt cuts?

The Dylan & Cash is wonderful particularly I love "Good Old Mountain Dew" since that was a camp song for me growing up.

Today was an amazing day. My honey brought me a caramel moolatte for lunch. I had a beef and brie sandwich for dinner. I got my first Zippo. I really thought my day couldn't get any better.

And then I came home to this.

So glad you like my taste in music; it's always a pleasure to find others who enjoy it too. And you can indeed say "fed" (and well!) as I ended up downloading all the tracks you posted! The one track with Johnny Cash from Dylan's album - was it Nashville Skyline? I think - was always my favourite, so it's very cool to hear all these songs.

I'm pretty new to the whole uploading & downloading music thing and haven't posted a whole lot yet - mostly just filled a few requests - but am compiling my list and will be posting it in my journal soon(ish) so check back if you're interested in case I have some music you'd like.
