A 25 minute piece "Incubi-Succubi" was born as a live act by Svart1 (Sardinia-Italy) and Daina Dieva (Lithuania) for the opening of an exhibition of the painter Daniele Serra, and performed in an art gallery in Cagliari (Sardinia, Italy) on the 9th of December.
A common point of departure for this musical soundscape was the theme of the exposition - darkest nightmares. And so it flows wandering through post-folk, saturated in dark ambient and covered in the shelters of industrial, closing the circle with the post-folk chant again.
This peace is meant to be perceived as a soundscape for a moonlite night - closing the eyes under the sparkling path of the full moon and letting go of this world. A first phase of sleep is a handful of memories, feelings and illusions, the second phase - the heavy sleep - is a torture of nightmares, the third phase lets you rest in the dreamlands of childhood, while the fourth pushes back to suffering the darkest night hours. Finally the first rays of the sun enlighten the feverish dream and calls out to enchanted awakening.

"Martin Heidegger was one of the most original and important philosophers of the 20th century, but also the most controversial. His thinking has contributed to such diverse fields as phenomenology (Merleau-Ponty), existentialism (Sartre, Ortega y Gasset), hermeneutics (Gadamer, Ricoeur), political theory (Arendt, Marcuse), psychology (Boss, Binswanger, Rollo May), theology (Bultmann, Rahner, Tillich), and postmodernism (Derrida). His main concern was ontology or the study of being. In his fundamental treatise, Sein und Zeit (Being and Time), he attempted to access being (Sein) by means of phenomenological analysis of human existence (Dasein) in respect to its temporal and historical character. He placed an emphasis on language as the vehicle through which the question of being could be unfolded, and on the special role of poetry. His writings are notoriously difficult. "It is a little-known fact that Sick To The Back Teeth was the second snare drum player on Fleetwood Mac's "Tusk" album. He claims that he made it sound better, but the band's official press release stated that he was kicked out for ruining the album [citation needed]. Later in his musical career, he developed a poison that was capable of killing only Mick Fleetwood, specifically (but never intended to use it). His favorite Popeye character is Wimpy. [original research?]"

Хедлайнер мероприятия питерский live-проект CYCLODOL

Основатель проекта "CYCLODOL" - Илья Шувалов музыкой интересовался с детства. Имеет музыкальное образование по классу фортепиано. Электронную музыку начал осваивать с 1999 года.
Проект "CYCLODOL" был основан в 2007году, его концепция заключается в абстрагировании от какого-либо музыкально направления,вся композиция строится на экспериментальном подходе написания трека. В процессе создания используются исключительно настоящие (не виртуальные)музыкальные инструменты (синтезаторы, семплеры, обработка). При написании трека применяются пошаговые секвенсоры без использования компьютерных программ.
Денис работает в компании, занимающейся продажей музыкального оборудования, и владеет студией звукозаписи и дизайна "Prophecy recording and creative lab".

The premise of the album Insight comes from a possible definition of INSIGHT - An insight is the derivation of a rule which links cause with effect. The mind is a model of the universe built up from insights. - Based on this, Insight was composed using a random process of forward expansion of musical structures, establishing an equilibrium state and jumping to new territory, a different direction than the previous one, leading to insights on different musical styles. It starts with an approach to ambiance, changes to nujazz structures, continues the journey through contemporary music (with the help of Tiago Morgado playing Alto Viola in Track 3) and finishes with an approach to trip hop. The message delivered by the album, the explosion of communication technologies and their reflection on the way we interact with each other, the insights allowed by science and its contradictions.

Suterminal is the expression of one person with its main focus on exploring the collision between soundscapes and poetry, using automatic expression based on science - WORDSOUNDSCAPES. The automata is used on the construction of words/poems and sounds/music that jointly deliver messages to the society towards activities of REFLECTION. Words and sounds have different meanings, depending on its listener, but only if he/she takes sometime to dwelve in the complexity of him/herself stimulated.

All tracks are examples of Reson8, the laptop setup used by Jeff Cloke for live sampling and studio production. Reson8 uses Ableton Live as the platform for some unique spectral processing. Tracks are generally slow-moving, gentle and harmonically rich, with a touch of noise!

Jeff Cloke is a sound artist working in the live/experimental/improv field. He could describe his laptop setup, and how he came to be where he is musically, but there is no need. These days he simply creates sounds that he enjoys listening to.
