Title: What's In A Name? Fandom: Harry Potter Characters/Pairing: Draco Malfoy/Hermione Granger Summary: Hermione overreacts to Draco's choice of nickname, and in the ensuing chaos the truth about their relationship is revealed. Notes: This is my first Dramione fic ever (and really only my third fanfic ever period) so please be nice. But please give me tons of concrit if you have any. Just nicely. I was like super super super super heavily influenced and inspired by the dramione thread on nicknames and even borrowed spadul's term "cheeky little Brussels sprout". Lots of love 'n' respect. Super honest. Also super thanks to my super awesome beta 57mannequins. Word count: 1214
( We all know that our favorite female character is prone to histrionics. )

Title: Coffee Enhances Everything Fandom: In Plain Sight Characters/Pairing: Mary Shannon/Marshall Mann Summary: The morning he returns to the office she brings him coffee. The first night he had been in the hospital she had spent the entire night sitting on a rickety wooden chair by his bedside waiting for him to wake up Notes: Post-"Trojan Horst". Spoilers for that episode, I guess. I mean, I dunno. "Omg Marshall got shot." But even people who've only seen previews know that happens. Oh wait oh wait oh wait "Marshmallow" (you'll see) totally comes from ams87 and not from me! She'd hang me or something if I didn't say that. Besides, it's kind of what inspired me to write this so I really have to give credit where it is due. And I want to thank my two amazing ego-boosting betas (who have said themselves that they don't really know how to beta, but that's okay seeing as I'm not entirely sure what a beta does anyway), fatherleary and maantre. Whew. Okay. Too long. Done. Now read. Word count: 1284
( The last morning she had brought coffee to the office had to have been at least six months ago... )
You know the drill. Comment. Tell me if/how bad it sucks. Or if/how bad it rocks, alternately.

| Recipe: crepes |

I was at my friend's house for dinner tonight. She is currently hosting a French exchange student, and so after dinner we made crepes. In my esteem, crepes are the ultimate sort of food: ultra-thin pancakes filled with toppings that might be either sweet (raspberries and Nutella) or savory (spinach and goat cheese), they can suit one's appetite for any occasion. Aurore gave us the incredibly simple recipe and now I am sharing it with all of you.
Ingredients 4 eggs 1 cup [200 grams] flour 2 cups [1/2 litre] milk 1/2 cup [100 grams] melted butter Salt
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend well; the mixture should be fairly liquidy.
- Melt butter on a heated pan on the stove.
- Spoon a ladleful of batter into the pan; tilt the pan so that the batter coats the bottom in a thin and even layer.
- When the crepe browns on the bottom flip it with a spatula (taking care not to rip it).
- Add your toppings on one half of the crepe and after allowing them to cook for a bit flip the empty half over the toppings. Allow the crepe to cook and fold it further if you wish.
- Enjoy!
